Do a hot towel for your waves before your wash then once you take the towel off have the water going at room temp between like warm and cool that happy medium then do exactly what your doing which by the way good video the hot towel will open your hair but it won't leave your hair wet and you will get the same effect your pores and your hair follicle won't close bc once the moisture fr the water hits it it will stay open. Its like tricking the follicle

Going with the pattern of ya hair basically so typically when you go to a barber they cut from your forehead back so it cuts the most basically when with the grain they go from the back of ya head to da forehead. It’s so you don’t ruin your progress when waving and to maintain the hair structure it has currently

9:16 when y took it off dry the durag since it was still wet and put it back on when your waves and since u already have waves kind of if you put the durag on your head again and wait even longer you'll will have your waves popping bro I have straight hair but then I got bushy so I got an afro cause it's all frizzy but my hair is healthy and I did what you did and it worked but just dry the durag and put the durag on your head and wait and boom you got waves bro

Cut it down when u feel that u can’t maintain it anymore & if your brush isn’t doing work anymore remember u want to train your lower hair not the top since you’re cutting it off anyway
