How do you get around the phone number problem? They send a code to your phone. If your phone has a China area code, you won't receive the Netflix message?

Try connecting to a Hong Kong server. Usually, that unblocks Chinese streaming sites. Otherwise, there aren't any VPNs that offer mainland China servers.

That's all great. I have the VPN. But Netflix want to send a code to your phone. They won't send a code to a Chinese phone number. Still stuffed.

A VPN won't help you set up a Netflix account, it only helps when streaming from an existing account. I would ask a friend to help you get an account set up by using their phone number. It's not that difficult.

+Francis Litan Yes and no...you can only watch what is licensed in those regions. Using a VPN gives you access to the content that is licensed in the US, UK or whatever other country you are from.
