How to Watch Netflix with Surfshark (and How to Fix it Not Working)

I got a problem. I made a netflix account in turkey with a vpn, but now I cant use netflix unless I am connected with the vpn connection I used when making the account.

Yeah Netflix not working with surf shark in the US...works fine without it but whats the purpose of the vpn if it doesn't work. im using a Nvidia shield

Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad to hear it. I'm unsure what it is exactly you're referring to, though. I can confirm that when testing we don't have any issues with password verification. There is one issue that occasionally arises, which is that Netflix doesn't let you log in while the VPN is connected as it thinks your password is incorrect. To get around that, simply disconnect from your VPN, login, then reconnect.

Hi there. I'm afraid you can't go fullscreen with Surfshark on macOS. If you're looking to get it to pop out into windowed mode like in the video (instead of anchored to your status bar) then in Surfshark go to Settings > App settings > Icon location and choose your preferred option.

Since I've installed SurfShark I am no longer able to log into Netflix or TSN. I'm in Canada using Canadian servers to access content available in Canada. I've used other VPN and never had this issue.

Hi Stephen - that's an odd one, but not totally unheard of. What happens if you disconnect your VPN, log in, and then connect to Surfshark?

This is a new one for me, but doing some research I have an idea what the issue may be. Netflix is super strict on preventing people who don't live in Turkey from creating a Turkish account. This is because Netflix is so much cheaper in Turkey than almost anywhere else in the world. There are reports that if you do manage to create an account via Turkey then you will be prevented from watching any Netflix library other than the Turkish one for the first month - although this could potentially be longer. If your account is new and was created from within Turkey then this could be the issue.
