All in all a nice video ! However, if I may add some (hopefully) constructive criticism, the Chronological order/Timeline of Events Order you've just described is the detailed version... There is however a simpler version of said Chronological Order called the Loose Chronological Order that goes season by season with the consensus being : Railgun > Index > Railgun S > Accelerator > Index II > Index Movie > Railgun T > Index III The explanation is simple : - The general events of Railgun happen before Index so it's first, - The events of Railgun S happen during Index so it's placed third, - The events of Accelerator happen in between Index and Index II so it's placed fourth, - Index Movie and Railgun T happen during Index II so they are placed sixth and seventh respectively (Index Movie happens before Railgun T since Kuroko is still in her wheel chair)... Oh and the reference point is Index since it's the mainline... But then again nice video, especially since you introduced yet another way to watch the series with your creative order called series order (which I should've thought before but my brain didn't even think of that possibility since my brain is a bit of a dummy). Plus it's a very concise video that only takes 2 minutes to watch so the viewers don't get bored to death with long explanations (A+ on that department).

@@aidang6476 Yeah, since it makes more sense time wise (for me at least) because sometimes I couldn't pinpoint where each event took place... However you can watch however you want... Either the watch orders mentionned in the videos or this one in addition... The only thing to remember is that everything is centered around Index first and foremost.

I started with the novels, but these are nice suggestions. I agree that you shouldn't skip around to events by timeline, the series loves making future important characters be there from the start but not involved at the time. Otherwise things feel like they came out of nowhere, course sometimes thats because the anime skips some of the timeline anyway cough Liberal City arc cough

Novels are where it's at. I started to read them and I've seen of the anime adaptions. I decided to start from the beginning instead of doing the vol 14 recommendation because I'm a fan of the series and I want to say I've read it all and honestly it's worth the read. Reading about Touma's confusion on Angel Fall literally made me laugh for 10 minutes straight and it was great 🤣

Railgun is the best start because Railgun S is sooooo much better when you watch it without having its Sisters Arc already spoiled But some context from Index can be good. You can watch the first six episodes of Index before Railgun S and you should be set Railgun > Index episode 1-6 > Railgun S > rest of Index > Accelerator > Index II > Index movie > Railgun T That's basically it

​@@mehulsharma6713IMO, the Sisters Arc is the very best part of the entire series. Railgun S is one of my favorite animes because of it. To have it spoiled by watching a drastically inferior version... You have a choice now! People in 2008 didn't have a choice, since Railgun S wouldn't come out until 2013. You can *feel* the difference in quality, animation, direction, everything. It's kinda like playing a game where there's a PS2 version or a PS4 version with extra features. Nothing wrong with PS2 (I grew up on it) but one is clearly superior to the other. Y'know what I mean?

I prefer the lose chronological order because I liked being introduced to Touma that way as this mysterious guy with an unknown power. It also was a better and less confusing introduction then Index would have been. Railgun does a good job explaining the science side better than index does.

Good video. Concise and helpful. I must say, thought, I'm not a big fan of the Toaru series as an anime (with the exception of Accelerator, because fuck that manga). Let just say I have my problems will the way they adapted it, different problems with each side. And, while that doesn't affect the watch order, besides myself recommending to just skip Silent Party (and, maybe, several other filler episodes), I still would rather read the source rather than watch the anime.

If you don’t like Index 1 at first then I would recommend watching, Railgun first instead. The reason being is because I started with Index and almost dropped the series because index was really confusing and didn’t make much sense. However midway through Index 1 I started watching Railgun 1 and enjoyed it a lot more than Index and it made me actually want to watch index.

I spent a good week or so putting the series in order by arc. It was difficult and fun, the hardest part were the Daihasei festival and sisters arc. I will edit this later with the google drive link. Heads up so I could limit some of the time I only kept the opening in the first episode of the arc and the last episode in the arc. Also I had issues with the British family arc, so it is quieter than the others. The 3 stories summer arc I put accelerator and last order's story first then touma's next since it made the most sense.

Railgun season 1 is a bit hard to enjoy since the 2nd half is filler. Railgun I'd definitely worth the watch Railgun S is probably the best season in all of Toaru imo. You can skip the filler arcs for Railgun Season 1 and Season 2 and Season 3 is all canon
