After filling the cement fix to the grouting lines, is it necessary to apply KK233 solution again on top of the cement fix when dry & with what % of water mixture ? U did not mention in the video.

Try using this product KK233. First, scrap off all cement grouting lines on your floor tiles. Use 1:1 KK233:Water and brush deeply into all grouting lines, including the corner, edges and vertical tiles. Add cement to the balance, and reapply it a grouting lines. Hope this helps!

For the grouting lines, yes! The point of entry are usually the corners, edges and drainage outlets.

You may dilute it with water and brush through all the hair line cracks or grouting lines as primer.

Kingkote KK833 UV Protection Enhanced Coating is formulated as water-based composed of acrylates of polymer latex. KK833 is suitable to be used for surfaces coating protection. It also provides UV reflection on the building. It has the function of dust control and gives a shiny look to the surface of buildings. Characteristics KK833 is designed as a protective coating to enhance the surface of the application area. KK833 can be diluted by water in vary ratio for different purpose accordingly. KK833 provides UV protection to strengthen then colour durability and extend the lifespan of the paint. KK833 is able to enhance the interface and adhesion of the topcoat, prevent from weathering. KK833 is odourless and water cleanable. It is an environmentally friendly product.

the toilet is expose to different type of chemicals such as hair and body shampoos and floor detergents or degreasers and sometimes some mild acids ( for cleaning stubborn stains or urine spillages not immediately wash away). Is the product chemical resistant to all the chemicals mentioned. How long will the waterproofing King Kote KK233 last if it is not chemical resistant to all these chemicals and start to break down immediately.

Yes, the combination of KK233 with cement will withstand the above. However, we are looking at 2-3 years for recoating.

This is more suitable for waterproofing at concrete slab, or tile grouting joints. For marble, it is not.
