Loved your slow tutorial! I have always, wanted to use some of my sarees as dhotis. Loved your video with your mother. Both of you look great in the dhoti. My only concern is using a toilet with a dhoti..... It's not that easy for women! Never thought of, asking my grandmother who wore 9 yard sarees where there's no petticoat! And is worn like, a dhoti. Sadly she is no more! 😔

I have always had an issue with the vertical pleats when I've tried to tie my dhoti like the Odissi style costume. I take the topmost corner of the dhoti and pleat along with it and it's never even, this video helped and I'll definitely try this style, thanks!!
