Already had the struggle of my glasses fogging up in the winter. Once I went on the bus and it immediately fogged up and I did the windshield wipe on my glasses and the bus driver caught me doing that in the mirror and he wouldn’t stop laughing for like 5 mins. Embarrassing af 😅

You're not applying it right then. The way to do it is rinse your glasses in water, then apply the dish soap and rub on with microfiber cloth or soft tissue; or you can let air dry. That way works for me with no issues at all and no fog.

OHHH I get it, because “dish soap” is a surfactant, you wash it with water and it helps the water spread more easily and help make objects wet and whatever, but once you get it all off, the water kinda repels from the object you just washed, and that’s why your hands may feel extremely dry after using dish soap to wash your hands. Because of this, when you wash your glasses with the surfactant we call dish soap, it will also stop condensation forming on your glasses for a short while, and that’s how I think this works. You can tell me if I’m wrong or if everyone already knew that but I had a sudden realisation on why this works, my stepdad told me about it the other day, cause I’m mainly the only one who listens to his long elongated stories and I just thought it was nice that I really did learn something from that.

Yeah, the "Dawn" type dish soap has a few compounds that Rain-X type products have in them. Here's a little bit of a stylish effort, I've got a reusable "hack", whatever; for the problem. For this you'll need one inflatable pool toy, though patently you could temporarily use paper or a sandwich bag. The plastic on a sandwich bag is a little thin so use that delicately. So, get your pool toy*(and it's even better to use along a seam). At about twice the size of your glasses, cut out a 'pointed in the middle' mask to allow for the plastic to be maneuvered closer to the eyes. [that is **-..-*&*-..-** ] Then put on your mask and then the plastic and then the glasses. The plastic sticks to the skin, and is washable, plus you can cut a 100 out of a pool lounger. They're usually $2.50 or so, and soon will be on discount - the ones which are not a print may prove to be less obvious, but then you may want to be noticed, so.

Fogging also depends upon the humidity. If on a particular day humidity is more then the glasses will fog.

I made a Non-Tape, None Soap solution. And it worked. Took a tissue folded into double. Put it on the top of your mask, leave only half inch inside the mask, keep the rest outside. Put the Mast on nose. The idea is that when you breath, the tissue should become a container

All of these ideas are damaging for your glasses or damaging for your eyes. Wearing your glasses at a different angle or position will effect your vision and actually change your prescription. (A mm there is nothing until you're doing it every day for 8hrs straight). The ssme way the soap stops the glasses from fogging is the same way it will eat away at your lenses' and any coatings. (You probably have a coating without even knowing). Lastly there's some anti fog cleanjng cloths on the market as well. I will say that i have tried the soap method, the anti fog cloth, cleaning religiously, paper in the bridge, tightening the mask until i can barely breathe, higher up on my face (where it irritates my eyes and ears). And so so soooo many others. Verdict: nothing worked effectively. (Although i do have an anti fog spray that lasts for a short amount of time)! But ima keep looking. (Ps. Yes ik i shouldn't have done all that but i work long shifts and i was desperate.)

I have found a way to place glasses on top of my nose the way that air doesn't escape into them for the most part but the problem I have is when I try to breathe The mask sucks into my nose and I'm literally choking... usually the glasses are the first to go. I live in a very cold climate so living with glasses and having to wear a mask is extremely inconvenient. of course in a controlled environment everything seems perfect, but when you've got layers upon layers of clothing and stuff in your hands and a backpack it is incredibly distracting to also have your glasses foggy as fu k

Doesn't work for everyone.. not everyone has access to soap and water (while on the job, wearing safety glasses) and the mask can be too high up, it can bother your eyesight. Someone please come up with alternative solutions!!
