Summertime doesn’t mean you can’t wear boots, you can wear them if you feel comfortable. In NY and LA boots are fairly common during the Summer season. Always wear desert boots in the summer here in Spain. To be honest I wear them all year, dark colours in winter (if you call it winter) then bright colours in summer even when it hits 40c.

I'm actually a fan of your shorts/Clark's combo...two questions, though: I see the light suede definitely goes in summer but are there any other shades of the leather you could wear; I'm thinking darker shade than the light suede? Also, can I wear my darker shade Clark's with 3/4 (or, I guess men's capri?) pants instead of shorts? I can definitely see the light suede chukkas going but I'm wondering if darker shades can too?
