They're still in, I've seen both A-line culottes and sightly straighter cut this spring and summer. ☺

I wore culottes in the 80's and they were bright purple! So I'm a little unsure about diving in again, but I do like the idea of a breezy summery pair as an alternative to regular pants.

I'm 5ft4' but my clients who are around 5ft - 5ft 3 wear them. As long as they fit your high waist well and you have them hemmed to just past your knee, these work well on petite height women :)

Everyone is different, but for me wearing culotte going thru my widest part of a calf ( a middle) is a no- go! I prefer that they go below to slim my calf.

I’m the same, you don’t want them ending in the widest part of your calf or they’ll widen that area. Sounds like you’re all over it already! 💃🏻

Any tips for the cullotte in a more masculin ensemble? Found some marvelous fitting thick woolen cullottes, quite stiff fabric, with a nice Kung-Fu vibe. With a blazer and untucked white button-up? What shoes to wear if you show hairy but muscular ankles? Or can you as well finish it off with a bright coloured pump?

Certainly, with a high waist in a printed or darker colour it will be very flattering. Or you can wear a pair that has some detail on the waist band so it brings attention to your waist 🌈

I just got black silk wide leg trousers and they are the iffy length (not long enough but longer than culottes). Your examples have given me some fresh new ideas. Excellent examples! If I shorten my trouser, they will be long culottes. If I add fabric, they will be full-length trousers. Either way, you are right on the money with style ideas. The hard part is adding the correct shoes. I spent hours looking at videos. Your video solved my dilemma. Thank You!🌹🤓

Petites can wear anything taller women can wear as long as they wear petite sized clothing. Petite sizes are scaled down to fit petite proportions.
