I'm 4'11 and all this time I assumed only skinny pants was the only style that would be flattering until I saw this video! I stayed away from some of the pant styles you mentioned but you enlightened me. Also, I don't know why they think if you're petite that you also have a tiny waist. We can be short and pudgy also.. LOL! It's just trying to find the right fit in all areas. You have great tips!

I have the challenge of being 50/50 on torso to legs length, short waisted, and large breasted, on top of being only 5ft, so pants get pretty careful scrutiny in the dressing room before I buy. Since I know what is not going to work, it's made online shopping for pants easier. A tip if you shop online, and there's no petite length, is to get regular length in ankle pants which may have a hem length closer to your normal petite length

I'm only 5' 1" so have so much problem with length of pant length. I am older, over 55 and cannot wear high heels anymore. Just too uncomfortable for me and I have to walk several blocks to bus stops. Just can't wear high heels like you are wearing. I can wear low wedgy shoes (not over 2 inches at the most.)
