Sensei, what genius tips! I have been looking for a way to wear gi with the neck closed as my kendogi is a bit big. Arigatou gozaimashita!

I'm honored to hear that from someone who practices Kendo. I'm glad I could be of help. Looking forward to further interactions with you.

Miyako sensei, could you please make a video for men hakama? And how to get a perfect square knot in the front? Also another option for Obi would be nice. I'm doing a very simple one but I would like to do better.

Hakama for men. I have been considering it for some time, but have not been able to take action. I don't know when, but I will make a video. As for the obi, yes. I do it this way for ease of movement.

What a beautiful hakama! What fabric is it?

Thank you very much. I am happy because I made it with a lot of care. This is a synthetic fiber. I used to wear silk hakama in the past, but they wrinkled, so I decided to use synthetic fiber.

May I ask the length of your front, and back straps? Are they standard length? I'm trying to order Hakama, and would like to wear them as you do. The Hakama I tried on once had straps that were too short for this way.

I measured the strings of the hakama. The front cord is 3 meters 70 centimeters. The back cord is 2 meters 70 centimeters. It depends on your body shape, but it is better to make it a little longer because you don't have to worry about it being too long.

The width of the front string is 4 cm. The width of the back strap is 7 cm. I hope this helps.
