I am happy to be of help. I started this KZbin to make a digital textbook of Kyudo. I don't know of any place that sells hakama abroad. You want to wear a beautiful hakama for Kyudo, don't you? I'll see if I can find a better way.

キチンとした衿合わせや角帯を使った袴の着付を分かりやすく教えて下さりありがとうございます。 わからないことが2つあるので、よろしければお答え下さい。 弓道着の衿は、女性でも首の後ろにぴったりつけて（衿は抜かないで）着用するのでしょうか？多少は衿を抜くのでしょうか？ また、黒や紺色のアンダーシャツ（七分袖とか長袖）を着用して上着を着ていますが、あまり好ましくないのでしょうか？

道着の衿は隙間がない方が美しいし心が引き締まると私は思います。 色は白の方が神秘的というか、心が引き締まるので私は白にしています。 ただ、私が正解ではなく参考程度としてお考え下さい。身だしなみは弓道を続けていく中で、これが美しいなって価値観を持つと思うのでそれを大事にしてください。

Thanks a lot for this video ! I practice aikido and was wondering about the differences of tying a hakama for men and women. From what I gather, men tie them on the hips under the belly whereas women tie them higher, at the waist. Is that correct ? Do you have more details to share regarding the different ways to wear them ? Thanks a lot !

Basically, men and women tie the same knot. However, it should suit you so that it is not too painful when you move. And it is important that the hakama does not fall off when you are moving. It can shift position depending on your body shape.

Hi, thank you for the explanation. I have a question about obi - can woman wear 9cm x 380cm obi that is told to be for men? The one you wear looks like kaku obi but I am not sure. Is it a problem if I wear kaku obi or is it ok? Your opinion would really help me, thanks in advance! 🌸

A men's obi will be fine. Women's obis are too soft and will come loose.

I am saving up to buy a Hakama from Japan. What strap lengths should I consider to wear it like this? I'm thinking a 34" length Hakama, and I'm 5'7", but mostly all leg lol
