Hey Gemma, I was in the supermarket the other day and I was wearing black leggings and a floral top. As I was trotting down the aisle a young man approached me and said excuse me, I hope you don’t mind but can I tell you that you look absolutely stunning and I had made his day. @@gracecarcich2712 YES! And it happened to me, too. Men like to see women well turned out. I was wearing a black blazer with my long black leggings, and a colorful chiffon scarf at the neck. A man young enough to be my grandson said, "excuse me, but you look great." This with my silvery pageboy hairstyle. And I'm 72. Looking neat is everything. Thanks for making my favorite garment respectable!

I am 68 years old and I love my leggings! They are my "go to" from early fall to early spring. I wore them today for the first time since the spring. I always make sure to wear a long sweater or blouse on top. I wear either boots, sneakers or ballet flats with them. I wear them unashamedly, as they are comfortable yet stylish.

Can’t wear leggings, as I am knock-kneed and tights or skinny jeans just emphasise that fact. Plus I’m broad across the rear, and ditto. Joggers work well, and straight or tapered jeans and pants look fine.

M&S leggings are wonderful they are thicker and have tummy control. I like the with ballet flats or loafers and long jumpers with a blazer over.

The problem w/ leggings & skinny jeans is that most women who wear them in public do not have the slim body type to pull off the look ! Ok for at home for comfort , but too form-fitting otherwise - adding a tunic top , chunky sweater , blazer , just calls more attention to a problem area while unsuccessfully trying to camouflage it . Just as easy to pull on a smooth knit pant ( slim fit / straight leg . etc. , many choices ) for a body flattering " go-out-in-public " look .

In general, I am not a fan of wearing leggings out anywhere, but I bought a nice thicker pair that had a seam down the front of both legs. I also went a size up so they wouldn’t be so form-fitting. They look like a nice pair of slim-leg trousers. I wore them on vacation some months ago and they were perfect! I did try to wear them with longer tops just for balance, but they also looked good with tops that were a little shorter. I think leggings can be worn in public and can still look nice, but it’s important to be careful how they are worn. Love your videos!

I love heavy, chunky knit sweaters and about the only bottoms they look good with are leggings! I have a couple of pairs, and a lovely suede pair, and they will definitely come out when it's time to wear the high boots.

Got to say, the only time I see leggings being anyway stylish is worn under high knee boots, long sweater or jacket, country or equestrian style Otherwise they look too much like athleisure wear, which is the worst trend ever imo

What’s up with you all? Wearing some classy stiletto heels will elevate the leggings fabulously! In my opinion, If you don’t like them don’t try to wear them and as far as the princess is concerned of course she will wear them. Why not? She has a cracking figure.

I noticed that all the models had nice slim figures. All the outfits looked great on them. I don't think leggings work at all on overweight women with thicker legs. This was an awesome video for women who are not plus size.

I'm 5'11"...and carry my extra weight around my stomach and waist. However...my hips are the smallest thing about me, and have long muscular legs--but not actually skinny. So long as my top comes to my hips and covers my stomach, I can get away with wearing leggings...easily!

Leggings need to be of thicker fabric to work well. Their bad rep came from women wearing what were really footless tights as trousers, which showed everything. I do wear them at home in winter, the thin, footless-tights, ones, or just regular, footed-tights, under my daily skirts and dresses if really cold. I only wear thick ones as trousers, with no-show undies (silk cycling shorts style) because I won’t wear long tops to cover up, I hate long tops.

Morning Gemma Nowt wrong wi leggings 😅 They just have to be good quality ones. I have some dark browm faux leather ones from M&S. I wesr them with long checked blazers, or baggy jumpers. People knock leggins, but they can look a lot better than wide legged clown style trousers 😅 Youre looking lovely xx 😘

I use leggings a lot, i just make sure to wear them with a mini skirt, long blazer or with a "shirt extender". I think a camel toe or make your underwear visible are awful things to do to ourselves

Leggings are Passe! IF you have very Slender legs, then use skinny jeans or pants. But best stick to Straight Leg Trousers, or Boot Cut to even out the more Curvy Shape! Rmbr: Leggings is a Dying Trend, except for in the Gym! Best to stick to Classic Pieces instead of Trends!

There is no way I would ever wear leggings in public - apart from under a long skirt. Living in an area with many different ethnicities, I do not want to be ogled at. Leggings will get you ogled.

​@@ilariamasullo3353 I wrote that badly, I was aware that when I moved into my home and was wearing leggings for decorating the property, it caused discomfort to my neighbours if they came round, which they did as it is a friendly area, and it was an area of many different cultures. This was over 20 yrs ago, and it had not really struck me till then just how revealing of a body leggings can become. So since then I have been aware of how your clothes can offend others sense of morality.

No one did judge me for wearing scruffy leggings for decorating - I think I just made my friendly new neighbours feel uncomfy because of my tight leggings. So I have altered to wearing loose cotton trousers, and I feel happier because if any lovely neighbour comes round I'm dressed appropriatly for them. It just makes our lives more enjoyable.

I’m sorry , but what was “unsightly” about her well groomed feet ( as best I could tell on my iPhone)? And what is your issue with her modeling the PJ’s in question…. In her own home? I found the items to be great choices for working as well as lounging at home. There was certainly nothing even slightly risqué about them. In fact, I found them to be quite tasteful. I am at a loss to comprehend your dismay and offense! -But of course, you had a right to voice your feelings in the comment section. Yet…. I remain baffled over your response, and fear it was anything but “tasteful”.
