Fasten off leaving an 8” (20 cm) tail for assembly. **To make bracelet longer by an inch (2.5cm), increase crocheted cord by 6 chains; To make bracelet shorter by an inch, decrease crocheted cord by 6 chains**🤓

Can you do this with a very long cord, 2 of them, for a handfasting?

Hi - yes, that could work and a neat idea! I would make sure that the central knot part is sewn together well or glued securely so the woven part doesn't shift or come undone. :)
