How to WEAVE using an IKEA LOOM (Ikea Lustigt Hack for beginners!)

After finding out Ikea sells a weaving loom in their toy section, I knew I needed to put it to the test. The IKEA Lustigt loom comes at a much more affordable price than looms you may find on Amazon, so it makes it a great choice for beginners.
I will walk you through unboxing and how to assemble the loom, string the warp, and three basic weaving techniques: plain weave, soumak weave and pile weave. I'll weave with regular yarn, chunky yarn and wool roving. Finally, I give a review of how I think this IKEA product works.

Found this loom new in box at a second hand store for $10. Thanks for the tutorial! I had started it with the included thread... wondering now if I should scrap it and start over. The including gold thread does stretch, for sure.

Hi! The purpose is to give you some extra length on the warp strings to remove the weaving and then tie it off nicely at the end
