How I weight a jerkbait to give it more diving depth to catch those bass that are suspended deeper than usual.

Love the content you put in Mr. Wheeler, but for your next vid go a little more in depth on how you properly add the suspend dots/strips to your JB with the up size hooks to show if it helps get that bait ultimately perfect along with its action running like its intended use or if it hinders the action in anyway? Caught my pb this spring on the shadow rap deep. I had just wrapped a little fly tying lead thread around the middle hook and flipped it over the side to see if it was going to sink and a 10.26lb largemouth almost took my rod from me. I figured I had the sink rate about right lol

How about a video on buzzbaits, now I know everywhere you go and just probably about half the people you talk to somebody's talking about a top water bait to you... But I literally just bought six of your signature buzzbaits off tackle Warehouse and I just wanted to know if you could make a video on how to tune them if they are starting to lean one side or the other, say you catch a big one and he bends you all up, how do you get that sucker running true again but with the same sound??? Probably wont see this but i Have 1 bigger question.... Using Medium action due to the tip and action do you feel like you lose action with a medium soft tip more then with say a Medium Heavy fast tip.. I feel like back bone helps with the action but you use medium are you sacrificing action for bend to pin the fish on hook set or is medium plenty of spine to get great action on the jerk???

I'll try to help out. There's "power" & "action" I use a medium power, fast action rod for my jerkbaits. I know most like medium power, moderate action for this but I like a crispier rod snap. I also use light braid to mono leader for this reason. Check out my latest videos using the jerkbaits and see how wrong I use my baits🤣

@@Sum1Fishy Yea I meant i Use a Heavy medium with fast tip but He uses Medium Mod. I was wondering if he loses the action of the Jerk Bait Due to the lack of spine and Parabolic like bend of a moderate.. When i use a jerk bait i tend to go to the heavier spine so when i jerk the solid spine will rip side to side really well i heard a medium a softer spine doesnt get as good of action but i do know the medium Mod will pine the fish on the hook set better. was just curious if sacrificing the action of the jerk bait for better hook set is worth it ? but i set up both today and going to see what one i like ost so we shale see,,Also will check out your chan. for sure Bro!

@@Sum1Fishy speaking on my own experiences when the water is colder the fish seem to be alittle more lethargic so a jerk bait works alittle better. I do throw the crank baits when the water warms up and I don’t really touch a jerk bait.
