This was so clear and easy to understand. Thanks for making a project I was nervous about so simple. I thought, "it can't be that simple" but in 8 min I was done and had the stove plugged back in. Thanks so much

You can use a wheel grinder and just grind off the .250 tab so you don't have to crimp on a new connector. The tab underneath fits the old connector on the orange wire.

The burners on my Magic Chef (model CGR1420BDQ) are in pretty good shape. However, they could use a good cleaning. Can't find any instructions on how to clean this type of burner. Most other burners are 2 parts that remove easily, these are all one piece that are directly wired. Any recommendations on cleaning??

I have a Maytag MGR6772BDW and the right front burner would spark but not light. I removed the burner cap and broke the igniter off. There were no wires attached to it though. Did I miss something?

It is possible that when that part broke the wire may have fallen down under the cooktop? have you tried to lift up the top to see if you see the wire there?

I bought a replacement set of burners off Amazon, and it looked great until I tried to lock the burner back in place, It turned but didn't lock. Just stayed loose. And it seems like since it's not tight, it doesn't draw gas into the burner to light.

Flame leaking from the base of the similar burner( abt 16 y.o) on Magic Chef. Will the new burner fix the problem? Thank you!

We'd be happy to help you figure that out, but we'll need some additional information about the model and the problem. You can give us a call at 1-877-477-7278 or you can chat us at our website: www.appliancepartspros.com/. We will need the model number for the appliance, so that we can look up diagrams and information about your specific unit to give you accurate advice.
