Already saved me money just from one repair, I've subbed, and bought parts for my washer. Now I'm going to fix this oven, with your help. Thanks Soooooo much. Lifesaver.

I like the _soothing music_ in the background, it helps to destress me. I also like the clear closeups so I can see what you are doing.

I've never seen a repairman dress so nicely ! He must be one of the Whirlpool upper mgt. executives who makes KZbin videos on his day off for extra cash. When I do it, my clothes look like the inside of a worn oven from a military base kitchen afterwards. Anyway, thanks for the nice video, and the music not drowning out the vocal.

Couldn't have asked for a better instructional video. Clear, concise, easy to follow, and best of all...accurate. I just saved a ton of money and learned a valuable skill - thank you!

Thanks for the video! One my my elements just went out on my Whirlpool and I had no idea how to replace it. You saved me a couple hundred bucks not having to call in a repairman.

Where did you get the element? Is it a home depot part?
@im1who84uАй бұрын
@@cavazosrosendo7796 The element can be purchased on the Whirlpool website. It's not cheap. I paid $280.00 with tax and shipping.

This was exactly what I needed to help replace glass top. I originally watched another video and it didn't show how the burners were connected to the top. Thanks!

I have a stove similar the one in this video and it is the biggest burner that isn't working. It won't heat up. I replaced the switch and also replaced the burner and am still having the same problem. The burner won't heat up. Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem might be? Edit: 2:58 Thank you J-E-S-U-S! Thank you J-E-S-U-S! for the wiring diagram! This saved me having to pay to call, _the guy_ to come over and fix it!

2:00 Problem here is, there are no wire harnesses to disconnect. The wires go straight to the burners. The brackets that hold the burners in place go from front to back just like in your video with the screw that holds the mounting bracket in place being at the back of the stove top. This makes it difficult if not impossible to remove the bracket. If the brackets went from left to right, this would make it much more user friendly. I am going to continue on and try to do this, but it would be nice to be able to remove the whole top like you do in the video.

My dual range burner is a Whirlpool part. My Jenn Air range burner has an epic sensor in it. I can’t find any information on this sensor and it’s purpose. The burner will not come on, at all. Both the switch and burner have been replaced. Still not working. The only part that hasn’t been replaced is this epic sensor. I can’t find this part anywhere, can’t get through to Jenn air to get help. What is this epic sensor. The instructions for the new burner mentions it but there wasn’t a place to accommodate this sensor on the burner. I paid Sears $89 to tell me that they don’t know or can’t fix it.

How come you didn't address the fact that the positioning of the wire connectors that come with new elements often vary from the original, and that you have to follow the wiring nomenclature (1a,2a,2b,1b) when reconnecting?

Altho the vid is very informative, I wondered the same.
