Exactly what I needed. Moved into a house with a half-disassembled gas dryer. Put the model # into Google and found this outfit. Looked at what was missing on the diagram on their site, ordered the parts.They were really easy to deal with. I messed up my billing and shipping addresses and they were right on top of it, friendly and quick. Parts came before I expected.Now I have a working gas dryer for about $90. It's not the sort of biz you can Yelp, so I figured I'd leave some praise here.

I had to bend my pulley too as it was rubbing against the spool on the motor. Working so far!

Thank you so much!! I had this same situation. Thanks so much for pointing out that they changed the pulleys. I looked all over the bottom of the dryer looking for a white plastic wheel. Should I use the original pulley or use a new one with the plastic wheel?

If you are able the original pulley then you should be able to. What is the model number of your dryer?

Thank you so much with the video. It was funny I only had to watch it once and I was able to change out the idler and pully. It is also funny that there are three men in the house and this women knows how to work on dryers. Well that proves it. Women are smarter than men.

"Well that proves it. Women are smarter than men." Yet you watched a video of a man teaching you how to do the job.

Jessica it's a BIG difference between men & male🤔 Man is title that's earned, most male never reach there... you're born male🙄 and you had 3 males in your household😒😣😣

My dryer wouldn't spin and I spent hours trying to figure out why. Then, I saw the shape of my pulley didn't look the same as the one in your video. I bent it by hand to make a small adjustment and now my dryer is spinning again. Thanks!

Great video - but heads up... on my model Kenmore and the one he's working on he accessed the pulley to get the belt on from the rear of the machine. He doesn't show taking off the rear panel. I tried from the front and it was impossible. From the back after removing 8 or 9 screws it was easy to do.
@appliancepartspros10 жыл бұрын
Dan Nichols This idler is used on a few different designs, so yes it may be accessed differently. We did not have to remove the rear panel with this design, it was changed just as you see in the video. Thanks for the tip, and good job on getting the dryer up and running!

I opened up my dryer and didn't see an idler pulley, just the base part that connects it to the bottom of the dryer. Do I need an idler pulley to replace my broken belt? If I don't, how do I arrange my belt when I put it back on?

+dataunknown Without knowing what you have it is hard to say. You can go to our website and enter your appliance model number to view the parts breakdowns to be sure you get the correct part for your model.

Where would I find my model number? I bought my dryer in 2003 and can't find the manual.

dataunknown You usually have to open the door and look for the model and serial number plate.

Thanks, I found it. It's Mod: 110.64202200

According to that model number this is the correct video. If you had the style that does not have a roller but a skid plate instead, it is replaced by the style with the roller.

+MARTIN BLEVINS Hey, I just found mine lying in the bottom of the dryer also. I thought the belt was broken. What type of dryer do you have? I own the Maytag Centennial, nothing fancy, just a dryer.
