How to Whitewash Brick - Cheap & Easy DIY

Don’t like your old brick, try this out!
I’ve been painting houses for 25 years and this is by far the EASIEST and most satisfying DIY paint project there is. It might also be the messiest.

In this video we show you how to whitewash brick but the same method can be applied to any hard pores material. You can use this process to whitewash stone fireplaces, concrete pavers, brick pavers, tiles and wood.
So if you’re a first time homebuyer, renovating your dated house or flipping a income property this could be a quick and easy design solution. It’s cheap too. We used left over white ‪@BehrPaints‬ with a stain blocking formula. That wasn’t really necessary but it’s what we had and it worked like a charm so I would recommend that. Even if you don’t have leftover paint, you could buy a new gallon and sprayer/brush for under $50.00.
Super Simple Instructions
1-Clean your area
2-Cover everything that you don’t want paint to splash on
3-Mix 50% paint and 50% water
4-Spray on
5-Brush off any drips
6-Add as many Coates to get the desired look
7-Enjoy all the compliments from your neighbors and friends

Ouch that siding definitely warped. Isn't that vinyl? That color is to dark. What state?

We live in Pennsylvania @stephangarrett5649 The siding was on a list of things to replace so we thought what's the harm in trying a color that we've never seen before in our area. It might not be everyone's cup of tea but once a week someone stops and takes a picture or comes to our door to ask what color it is. It looks really good in person but I'm a little bias 😜

Can you roll & brush it on? Or is spray only the option?

Yes @AaronSharpe-uh7nm you can brush, roll or spray...all three methods are very messy so make sure you cover everything that you don't want to clean splatter off

Yes, we used a flat latex paint @dannydowell9979 It was old so I strained first hoping it wouldn’t clog up the sprayer 🤷🏻‍♂️ it still happened
