Im switching out a current window to a shorter but wider window, i made sure the steel lintel ran across the top, Its a double brick, but im not keen on a window sill, so im wondering if its still all possible to do without adding a window sill?

I don't understand the recess on the outside instead of it being flush to the bricks. Some images from inside also would have been brilliant also. Nice work. You said on the inside you can screw to the studs, but home like this often have no studs, just 3/4 furring strips nailed to the cinder block for mounting plaster. Not really enough wood to screw into... What is your method in that case? Thanks!
