Great video, Abby! Just as a side note for those who make liners (not talking about selling them) it's much easier to wick the fleece before it's sewn into a liner in my experience. :)

Lisa-Marie Pohl yes I wick my fleece 2-3 times before sewing. Even though they’re anti pill fleece sometimes they don’t completely wick till sewn to the Uhaul. I also wash my U Haul to shrink it before sewing sewing. What I’m trying to say some anti pill wicks better than other anti pill . I don’t know why that is.

Oh, Pecan, I'll watch them all if I can see that adorable and precious face! Lol, yes, Abby, I also find that some fleece, especially double U haul liners, has to be washed 5 times! My daughter is like, you pay alot for those liners, if they're using fleece with a thick outer coating, can't they wash it a few times before they ship it? Lol, sometimes I agree, but some places do, and I recently got liners from Valerie's Zoo, I'm loving them!! I have liners from Valerie's Zoo, Yay!

I really appreciate your videos, I would have no idea what i was doing without ya! I ordered a C&C cage and fleece liners after having a double-midwest cage with paper bedding for 5 years. I feel like we get too many bugs and flies right now, so i'm hoping it helps. Can't wait to set it up and i wouldn't have even known about wicking if not for you so THANK YOU guinea guru

Many might not realize that Patagonia brand was 1st (in my experience) to come out w/ fleece pullovers & jackets. It was popular because it wicks the snow. I grew up in the Canadian jet stream! 😚Hence, that excellent moisture barrier on fleece.

Hello! I have 2 pigs of almost one year old. Since they just can't learn to use 'toilet' (i tried angle one and a rectangular for rabbits with a sort of plastic grill to sit on and poop to fell in), so, I found some absorbent carpet pads, they are really thin but absorb well, even though I have to change them each 2/3 days. If I put bedding on it, like small rocky litter, like cat one but especially for pigs, it gets stuck between their toes, goes all over in the food bowls, even if they're upstairs and they end up eating it,so I avoid now that. Pellet instead gets broken and dusty so it becomes soon supermessy.. Also I'm afraid it to hurts them because of the shape.. Now that's summer those carpet pads are good, but pee always gets out on plastic cage on corners.. What should I do? The cage is 1m long, and I cannot find fleece here.. Is it whool or pile material? In both cases, just by using that material it would get smaller by washing it on hot temperatures and washing machine would get super messy because of hay that glues/gets stuck on those materials.. Please help 😭

@@skinnypigs1 thank you! I'm a 1st time skinny mom. Do you have any videos on adding a 3rd sow to a bonded pair? I adopted the first one and got a furry friend for her. She had another skinny in with her but I couldn't afford both and I thought she would be adopted quick. 6 weeks later ( after watching all her cage mates come and go and ending up alone twice) I took her home. They're currently separated, but in the same room and I've let them smell eachothers padding/toys. They will all be moving into a brand new 2x5 c&c . I'm just a little nervous because they have no protection and there's not a whole lot out there on skinnies. ❤️

Is another Guinea pig biting her? Is she itching a lot? Scabs would be a sign of mites if she lives alone, so she should be treated for them. The link in the description box for Guinea Lynx shares how to treat for mites or get the stuff from your vet.
