I’ve had some of the nicest invaders lately, one today showed me to a chest I’d never found before. A few weeks ago one came in took off their armor and weapons and we had a blast having a punch fight. I see a lot of other PvE players saying they hate invasions, but some of my favorite moments in the game have been thanks to my red friends ❤

This is something I never see people talking about but if you see that the invaders in question are very noob to the point where you can dance all over them just give them a chance,play around with a few back steps and experiment with new stuff. Nothing hurts me more than when helping a buddy and i see a nooby red so i take it easy on my fellows reds and stand in the back running side to side sneaking maybe a hit or 2 in but never dog pile the poor gamer ☝️

1 rarely talked about tip in pvp in general I wanna give. We see it in invaders KZbin channels all the time "Hit out of hit stun? Dishonest!". So to this, you gotta see the frames after getting hit as a 50/50 most experienced pvpers expect you to roll and got their roll catch timings trained in their blood so don't be afraid to hit out of hitstun. But never make it too predictable and mix it up with rolls/delayed rolls. Another tip if you hit someone out of hit stun and they engage you again but now with a shield/parry tool you can expect them to try and parry so neutral jump attack, delayed R2 or certain ashes of war out of hitstun work great against it.
@Oct0ber_4_Ever2 ай бұрын
That’s why a lot of pvp players started hard swapping for parries. So you don’t see it coming. The only time monkey mashing out of hitstun works against a decent player is if you have some latency
@TheDarkness45602 ай бұрын
@@Oct0ber_4_Ever no mater if lost, chasethebro, oroboro, steelovsky etc all those have gotten hit by "monkey mashing" out of hit stun. (me included) And like I said it's a 50/50 (guessing game) or are you telling me after every hit you land you gonna open menu and hard swap to get a hard read? I mentioned specifically to mix it up and not just mash out of every hit stun but if you only roll vs a decent - good pvper you're gonna get roll catched to death if latency is good so sometimes taking the risk to mash can turn the tides quite alot. Especially since this video is against invaders so landing 1 hit out of hit stun can lead into getting blender comboed. I only invade btw and obviously hate blenders, getting hit out of hitstun etc too.
@Oct0ber_4_Ever2 ай бұрын
@@TheDarkness4560 Doesn’t matter how much you “mix it up” teaching someone to always attack out if hitstun is a bad idea. Especially if you know you’re both going to trade again.
@TheDarkness45602 ай бұрын
@@Oct0ber_4_Ever oh I didn't know mixing it up and ALWAYS hitting out of hitstun are the same thing? Like did you even read what I said? Hitting out of hitstun is here to counter ppl who prepare the next roll catch nothing else and it's just a option to keep in mind but obviously don't rely too much on it and only do it here and there to make opponent aware you're doing it.

Ngl what pisses me off so much is people going after an invader who is clearly running off to PVE and then proceeds to aggro everything. And its always the host! Like of course youre going to be defeated you just aggroed like 10 enemies so what was a 3v1 becomes 3v11.

When I get invaded I don’t see the word invader I see the word challenger and because a majority of the people I play with aren’t as skilled as I am in combat, I’ll let them 1v1 first if they want to (unless the invader is a disrespectful idiot and attacks us both) If the invader manages to kill co-op then I am glad cause it means they’re better than the usuals I spar with and I’ll actually get to have some fun 😄

literally all you need to outplay an invader is to play it safe, have a balance of passive and aggressive pressure, and knows how to space and avoid attacks to whiff punish. basic hardswapping knowledge on using weapons that hard counter on certain builds the opponent uses. or even basic ring swapping. and basic latency connection knowledge. if the latency is rly rly bad it's okay to just focus on running away to the nearest boss door or just end the match by jumping off towards any nearest cliff or return home if you're an invader. nobody will blame you or scold you for doing so if the fight was so unplayable.

A lot of the nastiest stuff in pvp is essentially a knowledge/preparation check. Best example I think is the claws of night. If you’re not ready with the pumpkin helm or the crucible knot talisman it’s basically a free win for them. I would argue that knowing how to get out of a vortex is more important than any of that though. If someone is coming at you with a halberd stop rolling backwards!

That last "tip" is absolute and total garbage. Hosts should take all threats carefully into account and not let invaders drag them into mobs or narrow terrain and learn to pick favorable fighting ground with cover and lines of sight to all approaches - the invader is hunting them so take advantage of that. Don't chase them down, wear them down. This video is either the lowest effort or a troll. The best way to take care of 90% of the invaders out there, is always ALWAYS carry some pure cancer in your build, preferably as much as possible and learn how to use it. Having 2 or 3 nasty spells or ashes of war on deck that are over powered and easy to use will cause way more problems for invaders than any of these tips.
