bro i cannot express enough how much better the facecam is with the lights off. I personally always thought your room/background was super bright and yellow, and with them off everything from the camera quality to just the vibes as a whole is so much better. natural light is undefeated and the depth of field seems to be way more balanced this way, shit looks crystal clear.

also, its entirely possible the lights caused the headaches. i had a very similar problem recently and since only do warm, dimmer light (which i would recommend if you find its a bit dark in your room now) accompanied by natural light from the window, as well as green/red light in my room at night. any shade of blue will cause bad headaches over time as well.

@@aidaniscool420 It's more likely that the photoreceptors in the eyes are being overstimulated by the light, causing the headaches. Blue light couldn't possibly be the only cause because it's very possible to overstimulate the eye with green and red as well. Any light source over a certain number of lumens would cause strain on the eye and possibly cause a headache. It's actually been debunked by scientists that blue light is the sole culprit for eye strain and damage. It was more of a marketing bandwagon used by lens manufacturers to sell their "specialized" products.

the light thing that gives you a headache might be that, some ceiling lights have a little bit of a noise like, idk how to explain it but some do a little noise that you almost cant really hear, but it bothers you and maybe staying really long periods of time with that little almost unhearable noise might give you headaches

About the headache, check if there are any plants nearby (or wall plants outside the window), it happens for new allergies to develop in environments we are hyper-exposed to. Fluorescent lights (the really bright white ones) have been proven to cause irritation and sometimes minor headaches. Now I don't know for sure if it is a Fluorescent light in your room but if it is that could be the reason for the headaches.
