The thing about Gnar as well, is he can slow,stun enemies while having high ms and a jump. He is simply overshadowed by champs that will 100-0 other champs in a single rotation or two like Yone. Reminds me of a random comment by Tobias, "GP has a slow and a ms, meanwhile TF only has a stun."

An idea I have to balance the W, but that is difficult to code, is to always make the enemy go at the same movement speed when they are hit by it. A movement speed fast enough to escape but slow enough that if you get hit by the two first Q's, you'll get pulled. This would both make the W viable and a strong CC option. But this is just an idea.

or just make it so as you level your W the time to pull decreases, lvl 1 - 1.5 sec, lvl 2 - 1.4 sec, lvl 3 - 1.3 sec, lvl 4 - 1.2 sec and lvl 5 - 1 sec

That would make it a really hard counter for champs who rely on MS, change nothing for champs with many dashes and buff it overall vs everyone else. Since Riot would have to nerf his numbers in order for this change to be balanced, that would actually make him weaker vs most mobile champions, at least I think there are more champs with mobility through dashes than MS.

If you want W to work just like it does on lower levels, I would make it remove all bonus MS and ground the oponent. The base MS would make it possible to leave the W but it would pull when hit by Q. It wouldn't slow but it would work as a anti-MS. Making the enemy go at the same MS when hit would not solve the problem when hitting someone with 560 MS like gnar, they would just run straight and get out of W and you can decrease the pull duration when hit by Q but that would be a bit much.

Make the W great again! Personally I would either change it to pull faster, or just make the slow of it like Nasus' W on level 2 or 3. OR make it so that the front of it (the wider part) always turns to face the enemy!

In my opinion Aatrox should be changed to work more with attack speed. We already have 3 characters that increase cast speed: Yasuo, Yone, K’sante. Aatrox Q should reduce cast time with Attack Speed but deal less damage, and W should be more reliable. This would leave him still being the new Aatrox but have a bit more feel of old Aatrox, and it synergizes with his passive better too. I was an OTP with old Aatrox, but he’s literally nowhere near the same character, but those changes could make it feel more similar.

Aatrox Q should NOT scale with attack speed. K'Sante Q cooldown scales with armor and the cast time scales with health. Aatrox Q should scale with ability haste.

Aatrox Q cast time should be reduced with every level. His q should be his auto, just like yasuo and yone. He can proque any item effect with just the Q ability alone. And his W need to apply slow for one second. Just to make him more viable in the late game where everybody is zooming around the map like a house fly. That just a few of my ideas, if I were ever asked to rework Aatrox.

They should make Aatrox W like Aurora ult that when you try to walk out, it instantly pulls to the center. Can't be that you don't get rewarderd for hitting a skillshot while a champ like Gnar can stun you for 3 seconds without having to hit a real skillshot

Aatrox W does not pull that often but it serves its purpose, is a slow that enables u to catch enemies running and it makes it easy to read enemies patterns for easy Qs, I get that it is inconsistent at times but still functions very well in Aatrox kit
