Blake's Takes has a pretty good suggestion on how to deal with the early campaign, one of them being to take out Azag while he's still at his weakest in the early 4-5 turns before he gets a WAGH army. You might have easier time now that Shadows of Change is out and have more early units instead of just kossars.

Yeah they gave Plesk to Praag but still there's ways to make it work to get the same result, just give them Zavastra for free you'll get confed early anyway.
