Dom, the only problem I've experienced is when the crew on a table wouldn't allow to roll the dice if no bets were made on other random rollers rather than just betting on own dice rolls. When having a table to oneself allows for a good session of winning, but at the same time the tables are typically not empty for too long if another person sees the shooter winning bets. I've followed your and Frank's methods and typically can do quite well but only when I simply don't bet on random rollers. I definitely would like to fly out that way to get a coaching session on proper dice control, as I've been following your technique for more than a decade. Thank you to both Dom and Frank for showing its possible to beat the game of craps.

Hi Frankie First thank you for your kind words! You are absolutely right that you will lose on a random roller and the reason for this is that every bet you make on a craps table carries a negative edge. That is why you should use the 5-count ALWAYS. I do! As far as betting at the table on other shooters so you can get the dice - My experience is that you have to bet on the shooter next to you to get the dice. Now if you use the 5-count and no shooter makes it past the 5-count and the dealers say something, you need to come up with some lines. One that I use is "The way this tale is going right now, I wouldn't bet on anybody with YOUR money." From all the comment sheets and the emails I receive from students after they take a seminar, I know it would help. You need to teach some of your friends to shoot! This is the easiest way to fix this problem. Descend on the tables as a team. Don't get too greedy either because its a shit ton if fun when you and your boys are all filling your pockets together. I try to never have us all walk away with more than 800 each per night. Keep us semi under the radar.

I bought into a circus circus $5 table with $100, first time doing that, years ago. Went with the plan to completely watch everyone throw until it came to me….no betting, just watching, listening and learning, (yes I was nervous, but more confident from practicing) my mindset was $100 let’s go, win 2 out of 3….3 out of 4 throwing sessions. $5 come out roll…got it…$20 behind odds….$5 on all hard ways….$27 across. Some dice setting, most random throws….my confidence was to keep tossing like I knew what I was doing….hard number would hit soft and come down…put it back up….hit hard 10…hit the come out and do it again, get asked, want hards playing (yes). Numbers off(no-playing).9-10 rolls, crap I’d crap out…But….roll 8 or 9…pull all my bets please. 1st session cashed out $360 Went up to my room, relaxed, counted my house money in honor of victory couple Ice cold Coronas, some ESPN and went back 2 more times $100 each buy in. When all said and done:$890.00 Pretty soon during this 2023 year, I’m going back to Vegas to repeat my performance and feeling pumped up about it.

6 year old video and I’m totally liking this advice about the math back at the casino and your right about no just thing as a hot or cold table! We’ve brainwashed ourselves into actually believing that because of constantly hearing it at tables over and over again….it’s the math!! I see how I’ve lost in allowing myself to forget the math!! And wind up just throwing at caution from frustration and eagerness, totally forgetting about the math!! With math I win, except that I’ve subconsciously always back off after 8-9 rolls…totally forgetting about the math!! This is great seeing this video!! Perspective knowledge is strength.

WOW! I thank you so much for this response! Yes, this video is 6 years old and people always tell me that so many others put up a video once a week or more and I should do that as well. The problem is that there is only one way to bet, and only one way to throw to make money at the craps tables. I have a daily routine I like to casino hop in Las Vegas early in the mornings and my goal limit per morning is $250 before I have to be at work at 11am I do this 7days a WK I am saving my money 💵 for emergency situations I like early morning,s because I have sometimes the crap table to myself and the dice come back to me sooner

@@Goldentouchcraps you know I talked to you on the cellphone 📱 years ago nice to have you as my mentor, you know one time I was shooting dice at the El dorado casino and the casino manager wanted me to bet minimum of $25 on $5 table in order for me to get hold of the dice, I was ahead $275 and gave me $200 I pushed the $200 and told him that,s $275 not $200 and I left same situation at the Jokers wild casino back in the day, I held the dice for 45 minutes and and filled everyone,s racks up and up come,s the casino manager Dana asking what the hell happened, the stick guy says that guy over in the corner meaning me held the dice for 45 minutes and the dice were coming in front of me for me to shoot when the casino manager grabbed the stick from the stick guy and got the stick and pull the dice from in front of me crap and told me I had to bet $25 minimum for me to shoot those dice I told him look I didn't come to Vegas to give ya money 💵 I came to Vegas to take money from ya and I cashed out with 8 people cashing out also I hope to order a practice crap table from you soon thank you for your advice on staying out of the casino

the 5 count bypasses a lot of random shooters, face it some people have the touch!! if the dice are not bouncing around and are landing with a thud, this is a sign the shooter has some skill. often landing near the back wall. knowledge is king, don't be afraid to press up the 5, 6, 8, and 9 often these numbers will come up on a long roll!!

When it comes to random throwers I look for one thing only. It's a numbers kind of thing. You can see from watching the table go around several times. One person will throw a lot of the same numbers with their rolls. Just look at everyone and the repeating numbers they throw and make your bets on the numbers they throw

Know your math. You are right, every bet is independent. Every bet has a negative expectation (except the odds but you need a pass line anyway, so it is in total negative). Casino could care less how you bet.

Not true - Casinos DO care how you bet. That is why players that make hardway bets, center bets and such get higher comp ratings. Every bet does carry a negative edge but by using comebets with odds you are reducing the total edge on the bet. If you go to 100X odds the total edge is only .02% - hard to get much closer to 0% with any other bet. That is why comebet players do not get as many comps. Math people!!!!!!!!!! Dom

Thanks for agreeing with me that every bet does carry a negative edge. Sure they would like you to make hard way bets that carry an 11% edge. Yes a 100X can reduce the edge to a small amount. How many avg players are going to bet $1000 at a 10 $ table. Not many. Ok bet more get more comps. But it is all relative since you are losing more. Plus they are getting cheaper and cheaper. Can you say parking fees. However I don't say that hitting hard way bets are other such bets are not fun. My philosophy is that if you are worried about losing then don't play, but be sensitive to the math. Big 6/8 anyone.

Personally I think its funny because these people claim they suck at craps, so they come here to get better, and when somebody shows them how they can win with simply through dedicated practice, all they do is bitch and complain it doesnt work without even trying it!!! You only need 2 things to beat the game. 1) bankroll and 2) balls to keep going deep till it turns and you end up UP. Gambling is a circle. Stop at the top but have to be able to hang at the bottom

I just had a youtube warrior issue me a challenge to prove my skills at 7-avoidance. He's talking big money, but he's not the first, but the way he laid it out, it sounds like this might be a serious opportunity for me to make some easy money. What would you consider a 'fair' deviation from the norm to agree upon in order to settle a bet? He suggested I throw 2400 time and have 300 7's instead of the expected 400. I thought that was ridiculous and told him so. But what would be a good ratio to win his money without 'letting the cat out of the bag'? (I told him 2400 rolls would take too long, also.)

OK here is the math - you need to have a SRR (7's to roll ratio) of 6.23 to have an edge over this game of craps. So that wold be 385.23 7's. So start with telling him that you will 385 or less 7's. Dom are you an outlier with you results or have you seen others replicate or even up your skills on the craps table. I believe they called dice control a little controvers.ial on gambling with an edge. I'm still doing my research but for now I'm sticking to counting cards it's easier and the math is solid.

How to say this without sounding to egotistical - I am going to relate your question to baseball because #1 - I am a huge baseball fan and #2 - I know that dice control is an athletic endeavor ----- Ted Williams was the last and only player to hit 400 for the season - are there other great hitters? Yes. Joe Di Magio's 56 game hitting streak is the longest in history. - are there other great hitters? Yes. So I hold some records, I have done this the longest, rolls that I have had are documented meaning they have been witnessed - are there other great shooters? Yes - many of my instructors are great shooters. As far as card counting - as you know I started as a card counter - You are right, card counting is easier to master. It really doesn't take as much practice and outside factors do really enter into card counting. But the edge you get in today's BJ game and the edge you will get if you practice dice control is like night and day good luck Dom

Very simple - a 7 is going to show randomly every 6 rolls of the dice. What we are trying to do with the 5 count is to find a method of eliminating shooters so that your money is not at risk on every shooter. In the long run you will lose if you bet on every shooter at the table. The 5-count eliminates 53% of the shooters at the table so your money is at risk ONLY 43% of the time. So you will have more money left in your rack when it comes time for you to shoot and bet

By only making bets that the casino DOES NOT want you to make. The ylove when you make hardway or any of the center bets because the casino edge on those bets is so high. That is why the dealers are always promoting those bets. They are told to promote those bets. But you never hear a dealer asking the table if anyone wants a come bet. I've had success laying the 4 or 10 on the come out roll to protect my don't pass. I don't ever play the yo or hard way as added protection, but it doesn't hurt. If you make a $20 don't pass, throw a buck on the yo & $3 on the hard way working, only 2 out of 36 combos of the dice will hurt you, other than losing $5 if the yo hits. It all depends on your threshold of risk.

Mario Orlando Can't ever go wrong with the 6/8. If that's enough action for you that is a great way to play. For me personally I prefer to have at least 3 numbers working for me. My standard starter bet would be using the iron cross, assuming the field pays triple on 2 or 12. Otherwise never bet that field. Place 5/6/8 for 2 units, & bet one unit in the field. If the field is hitting I'll use that profit to press my bets or cover the other numbers that are hitting. However, once I lose that initial field bet I will never replace it until 2 consecutive field numbers are rolled. While of course Dom is 100% right that every roll is independent, I've realized that trends rule gambling in the short term. There are certain numbers that get "hot" & those are the ones you want to be on so be aware. When the field gets "hot" I've seen a kid turn $20 in $6000, without ever betting more than $200 at any point, though when I talked to him the next day he sadly revealed he ended up losing almost it all back. I'm guessing he started chasing his losses & making continuously larger bets. Bet what's "hot" & never because it's "due" I've also witnessed a couple lose over their entire bankroll because the 12 hadn't hit in over an hour & the husband insisted it was "due." They bet that sucker every freaking roll, & walked away busted.

One other way I choose what to bet on is to follow the winning players. When I get to the table I'll generally start conversing with my "neighbors" to get a feel of what's going on. If they reveal they've been winning I'll observe their bets & "piggyback" with them. All the bets in the middle are generally equally horrible, but I've been known to bet a horn high yo on occasion just because a player was winning unconsciously. In fact, some of my most memorable wins were attributed to those disgusting sucker bets in the middle. Super Bowl weekend in Vegas I piggybacked a $2 c&e, pressed it into a $5 hi-yo, pressed it to $10, then added a $5 hi-lo, pressed that into $10 after it hit, then several more times, all merely copying this older Asian woman. Long story short, the shooter came out with 11 horn numbers in a row, including 5 yo-s in a row at one point. I turned that $2 c&e into almost $2500 pressing conservatively. Others at that table walked away with $10k+. They were going crazy, parlaying their $5 yo bets, & after the 2nd hit were at table max of $200. Then they hit that bad boy 3 more times. I wish I were that crazy, but I just couldn't be. Those 11 rolls took almost an hr to roll, as at one point the dealers brought in a calculator to pay the bets. After all was said & done, almost all the chips were paid out, & you could see the circles of dust where they sat, probably for months if not years. They had to do 2 fills as well. Point being? We all know a c&e, horn or world bet carry a hefty house edge of ~20%, but it's ok to throw a few bucks on them ONCE IN A WHILE & hoping to catch lightning in a bottle. Don't do it on every throw though, & those bets shouldn't come anywhere near the amount you bet on your "meat & potatoes" of 6/8/PL/DP & odds! Think of the sucker bets as just a little sour cream on those potatoes...you know it'll kill you if you overindulge, but it's too god dammed delicious not to partake in moderation! & I don't even like sour cream 🤙🏽🍻
