It's pretty crazy to imagine the idea of someone still remembering a person based on a small deed someone did for you. It goes to show just how good this book is. Good job, keep it up.

I've read the book and It was good summary. The only thing that was vague was the sandwich praise. I think the video will be much better with more detail into that since it is one of the difficult topics in the book(see what I did there?) Anyways keep it up amazing content :)
@LearningREADefined8 жыл бұрын
Hahaha, thanks for the sandwich! Yeah, I've noticed that it's better in more detail too. I'll try to explain the most important concept whenever I do a book review in the future. I think people value (at least from my videos) the explanation of one strategy within a book as opposed to try to make a summary of every point.

can anyone tell me which is better...?? "How To Win Friends And Influence People" or "How To Win Friends And Influence People In the Digital Age" thanks :-)
@LearningREADefined8 жыл бұрын
Hey :) I have not read the digital age version, but I would expect the concepts to be the same but explained in a way that's more relevant to today's society. Just a guess though. I will get back to you once I've read it -Jason ;)

+Learn and Earn hi, what do you mean by scripts? like what I say in the videos?
@AnasHmamouch8 жыл бұрын
hey Jason, great video, the quality and the sound have improved a lot, but i have one or two things to say if you don't mind. First of all sometimes i felt overwhelmed with how much information you put in only one screen (sentences, and drawings), and isn't that book a little outdated? i mean society has changed since Carnegie, and to be honest people are becoming more aggressive, afraid and assholes, so if you always plan to be the "nice" guy who is gonna always care of what people think well it might not end up well for you, well take for example "Donald Trump" well he is pretty likeable lol and everything he does is against what it's in this book.
@LearningREADefined8 жыл бұрын
+Anas Hmamouch Hey Anas! Woops, looks like I did put too much information didn't I? The book is really old. It's very popular though, and new editions have been made by other people explain Carnegie's principles with relevant examples. I never read the newer books to be honest (The newest one is called How to Win Friends and Influence People in the Digital Age). Yeah, I agree that we can't be a "nice" guy. Yeah Donald Trump is very polarizing. I know what you're saying though, like society now has too many people (trying to be nice), especially with men to women interactions and it's not a good thing. That's how the whole neg theory and RSD came about to change that in people. Who knows though, maybe in a society full of aggressive assholes, if appreciation is truly genuine, it may shine though. I'll let you know once I've discovered the truth

+LearningREADefined I like having all information in one screen, it let me connect all the dots! We can never please everybody... ;)

+LBBRASIL hmm, good point, yeah, I noticed that the other videos done on "how to win friends and influence people" only focused one one trait in each category. , so I decided to jam 90% of the principles in 6 minutes :)

@LearningREADefined8 жыл бұрын
+Rayn Female Producer Oh, haha, not like a real gangster. It's a term used here used to describe a style. I guess it's because it sounds cool, I duno. So it's not really used to describe someone in a gang! Though on second thought, there are quite a few gangs where I grew up.
