we need hera to play a whole day only doing meme strats like douching and villager rushing and hoang tc eating type of strats to push the limits and the meta. In the end he is the most powerful player in the game. Its like Magnus Carlsen going to tournaments and playing H3 H4 openings

What is the best solution for the Korean player? Knights were not the option. Was mangonel defence + turtle/boom the best play from him? Also Koreans full halb + Shinkichon onager sounds like the perfect counter to Scorp+Hussar but he committed too heavilty into arbs. Would love your thoughts :)

I was thinking about a buff for Bulgarians a lot lately as they have been picked just 1 time in tournaments this year (excluding Red Bull). One thing I never considered is adding SL. Now I'm not sure how strong they will be with +33% attack speed.

As a low Elo player Aztecs are easily the worst civ. Monks are literally useless due to no micro. Skirms lack armor but have range and atk. Halbs not found. Their trash is trash :D

Yep. Az are timing sensitive. You can't passively play into late game. Az and Vik are similar in that regard. Eco on steroids but crap late game tech tree.

Isnt rushing with a tower in feudal + fast cheap upgrades extremely strong strat with bulgarians? U still can build a TC on ca.. I dont get why bg are so bashed by top players, seems so good on paper... Of course you have to be rly aggressive.

@hera i still don't get why bulgarians are not classified as a good fast castle civ, their blacksmith discounts is bad if we stick to fuedal but is insane if we push castle. even for CA saving 300-400 food is a lot early in the game.

also you can get there almost naked with a tower and still enough stone for a TC. Also dirt cheap +1 range tech if you really need it.

I played them a lot on random map at some point and they are quite fun. But you need to smash that Q button in the stable like there is no tomorrow.

Faster gold mining? seems like a useful eco bonus to me. Helps with knight and archer play (or really any aggressive gameplay involving gold units). And their bonuses for light cavalry line aren't bad for scout play either (+1 pierce armor in feudal and free unit-line upgrades to help them scale).

@@jasonsmith1950 Their open map win rate is around %35-40 above 2k ratings. No skirm no pike no arbalest no pike , no onager , no paladin nothing. Trash civ. Only Hussar and Cav archer is half decent in open maps, jans being 7 range with around %0.0001 accuracy is silly.
