23:19 a couple of notes on bomb teams: You don't want to remove stoneskin as bombs deal 400%more damage if enemies have stoneskin AoE incr acc is pretty good too as it will help you putting in an atk chest instead of acc Weaken amplifies bomb damage (if i am not wrong) but it won't land on stoneskin I run arbiter --> arbais (fresh pull but i used kimi for a while) --> lord shazaar--> gnishak Basically: spd aura, double 30% tm boost, incr atk and acc, bombs explode instantly Shazaar has 100% c rate to reduce bomb to 1 turn. I use bomber of 2 different affinities (i could run 2 gnishak which are better bomb champ but they would struggle too much against spirit tanks like dutchess Lasly 4 pieces pin point is great for spd acc and 1 turn intercept to avoid sheep Idelly to speed tune enough that your bombers have atk% gloves chest and boots (witj atk% ascension) and find acc and spd as substats Worst "customers" for bomb teams are of course marichka as they don't work and wukong as well because usually bomb teams are glass cannon-one hit wonder teams so if he comes back he couldn't annihilate you with the A2 or A3

Taking risks against hard teams is good to learn what you can do, but also sometimes just fun, I have lost 5 battles to the same team switching things to see if I can beat it. That then can translate to help you chose fights in 3v3.

I think my record is 18 goes against 1 team before I won. Sometimes I can't let it go, if I can sense a weakness somewhere in there. My great hall is maxed, and I wouldn't do that during a tournament, but sometimes I like to figure out how to win.
@trevorherrmann59032 күн бұрын
that's a lot of arena tokens your wasting which is bad if you're still trying to max your great hall
@Toedju2 күн бұрын
@@trevorherrmann5903 I'm maxed, but that happens like once in a blue moon, sometimes you get that ick to beat that team

I took a fight that had over 600k team power with no mythicals and it took me almost 16 mins to complete. It was a really hard fight but in the end I came out the victor.

I agree - I enjoy fighting against teams multiple times in order to figure out the solution as well.

Get well soon. I am learning step by step from you. My account is a mess.😅 My main concern is hydra, can't do enough damage to open a chest😢

Thank you! And good luck with Hydra. It's a frustrating fight to learn, but you'll get there! 👍

Oh, I'll be doing both. I still have the KA sponsorship. But this channel will continue to focus on mostly RAID.

In classic arena tournaments, I refresh the page once I've cleared all teams that are worth 10 points or less for a win. I don't want to be picking up 13 points for a win if I can help it. I don't want to climb too quickly and run into hard teams. I just spend 5 gems on refreshes if there are more than a couple of minutes on the timer. I also did that for years while maxing both my great halls, and I couldn't even tell a difference in my overall gem count.
@ColredPlaysRSL2 күн бұрын
Yeah, that approach can work too. I don't spend gems, ever if I can help it, on arena refreshes. I clear a page, or I wait the 15 minutes. If I'm active throughout the day, that's more than enough for most tournaments.

go second farming has been my method of choice for farming arena. ive found that i can generally be more certain about a wider range of matchups but thats probably largely a result of my fairly weak speed gear.
@ColredPlaysRSL2 күн бұрын
Go second teams can work well. It's slower, but sometimes you need to work with what you've got. If it's working for you, keep it up. But keep an eye out for a good go-first composition. It's a good idea to have at least one team of each type.

Odin (Lead), Arbiter, SkullCrown and a Narses as a clean up. That is my main team. It seems to take on most things, even stone skin teams. Due to Narses, Odin and Arbiter built speedy and can all tank fairly nicely. Then I have Arbiter and Odin that can revive. Odin denies turns. The only reason I have Skull Crown on the team over Thor or He-Man that both have better gear is only because SkullCrown has a 6 star blessing (He-Man and Thor has a 5star blessing). But she is also Void. So I have a full Void team so i dont have to worry about weak hits.
@SoulOfRaife2 күн бұрын
I do also switch in Armanz in place of Narses if i need more CC. As Narses only deals more damage than Skull Crown if there are shields up.
@ColredPlaysRSL2 күн бұрын
Sounds like fun! Plus the Odin aura applies to all 4 champions. That 40% speed is a game-changer. 👍
@SoulOfRaife2 күн бұрын
@@ColredPlaysRSL Indeed. In Live arena, I mostly pick the same team with Armanz as the 5th. So regardless who they ban, I am still typically good. Both Armanz and Odin are at 310-320 speed and Arbiter is at 386 before any speed auras are applied. As well, all 3 have Intimidating presence. So Typically win the speed war except on end.... end game accounts or insane luck accounts.

I thought this was very useful theory-crafting, although a person with a 3+ year account will have better champions and gear than a person that has been playing a year. So they may understand what you are saying, it will just be impossible for them to do it at this time.
@ColredPlaysRSL2 күн бұрын
Every account is different. My hope is that modeling good practices will help players of all account progressions.

Haven't read far enough to see if anyone has mentioned it but if you don't have a block revive to deal with Wukong and they don't have a reviver Ronda can work wonders with her a2

@Slimo742 күн бұрын
Hi Colred, just a detail by geek Slimo :-) I noticed you are using the expression "AI" when you talk about automated battles. There is no AI in here. This is just a set of rules that are not subject to change during the battle : this is automation, not adaptation. Not autonomy. There is no such thing like machine learning here.
@ColredPlaysRSL2 күн бұрын
Hey Slimo. AI is just a gamer term for the decision making algorithm any game runs automatically. Been around forever. May change now that we have more mainstream AIs.

I'm going to sound like an ass but if you're struggling in classic arena after 6 months playing it's 100% down to your poor choices with either gearing or team composition or who you pick fights against. I have 2 accounts, one is a self imposed rares and below only account and in 3 years I've never failed to end in gold 5 classic arena (other than a 6 month break from playing where I dropped all the way back to bronze but instantly climbed up again in days). High Khatun is a day 30 champ she will get you to gold 5 and keep you there if you're smart about who to fight against (Haruspex is the only rare viable equivalent lead in my opinion). I do not set a defense ever it's a single rare champ 24/7 and you will on average get attacked less than once per hour. I use only the free tokens from the dailies and whatever passive tokens regen throughout the day, I only do "free" refreshes no gems ever get spent.

Success in arena, like in many areas, comes down to focus, effort, and a willingness to learn. Not everyone likes arena. Not everyone knows about arena. I try to make videos that demystify aspects of the game, or simplify complex systems, in the hopes that will encourage players to do more in the game. If you are focused on arena, and you have 3 years of experience playing RAID, ofc you're going to end up in Gold V every time. But that player who's been only playing 7-8 months and who avoided arena at all costs for the first 4 needs more guidance than you do. That's who this video is for.
