I want to thank you. Some vandals messed with both my fuse panel and p.d. box, changing a few with too high an amperage, removing several, installing broken ones amongst other things. I am in the process of going through the system and correcting everything they messed up. So, again, thank you, you are a big help in my situation.

In most cars there are empty spots for new circuits both on the engine compartment fuse box (30-40A circuits) and in the fuse box inside (5-20Amps) but the muppets ALWAYS have to tap into the cigarette lighter and burn your car. Nice job.

Great video. Thank you. I'm trying to Install wire's for a/c on my 2001 GMC Savana 3500 witch didn't have a/c from factory at all. but I need wiring diagram to do that my self. Especially diagram from the relay fuse box to the AC and AC control knobs. I hope you can help me on this and I do thank you in advance.

If you are going from a power stud or directly from battery hot to that fuse panel there should be a fuse between the connection and the new fuse panel to insure safety.

not many people know that crimpers are labeled wrong for decades ...use the insulated side to push in one side and then the non insulated side to curl the other side over the first side and make it all pretty and way stronger

As long as he doesn't pull to much that original wire should be okay to handle the amps. Usually when you start to pull to much, that new fuse panel he got looks like one that has a built in fuse to cut power from there and onward. You can fuse the original wire if you want if it isn't already but just don't over do it and you should be okay.
@munecito
@munecito 3 жыл бұрын
@@pxndxlunx5821 but it isn't about overdoing it but about protecting the circuit. I would have put a fuse because if that wire ever touches earth then there's no protection and it will be sparking until the wire melts or the car burns.

Why didn't you mount the fuse block , and that stud is hot where the power cable comes in is there a safe way to cover the stud . Do they make something similar like a valve stem cap to cover the rest of the exposed threads.
