I bought one from them and am in the process of installing it. If you have purchased an Auxbeam from Australia it’s different. I bought a 6 gang Auxbeam from Auxbeam Australia via Amazon. The 6 gang is a completely different design than shown in this video. It fits under the bonnet but it’s much higher, the opening lid is on the side, and there is no breaker included. It looks like it’s not necessary with the 6 gang. I was able to use 1 predrilled hole but had to drill a second myself. The 6 gang Auxbeam is completely different as I said.

At 14:02 why did you attach the 8gage red cable to no. 02 stud in fuse box and why not directly to the battery positive terminal? (Red) The Aux beam instructions tell me to attach it to the battery terminal.

Good question. If you trace that stud back it goes directly to the battery positive. If you attach it to the battery positive clamp then you can't attach the red plastic protective cover that protects anything from grounding out on the + terminal. The unfused #2 stud is the perfect size and a cleaner way to wire it and achieves the same result.

Also, I have already installed the aux beam kit in the hood but not the switch, hence I was wondering if I could find the bracket for switch only. The one that you install at 8:20

It shouldn't be required if the incision is small enough. Its a double walled boot so its a bit of a labyrinth for water to get through. You could always add a dab of black Sikaflex if you cut the seal too large

Its on our priority list. We have one coming in for a hidden winch mount installation we'll get an engine mount drawn up then. The interior bracket should be the same as they do share console mounts.

Just an observation. The 6 gang Auxbeam is a completely different design (it doesn’t have neutral connections for example) and doesn’t fit this bracket. The bracket fits the vehicle but I had to drill a new hole to mount it. The bonnet closes fine but the Auxbeam is taller and fuses are sideways.

Correct. Our mount kit is designed around the 8 gang panels. Specifically it is compatible with the following Auxbeam versions: BA80, GA80, RA80 & RB80

@ it’s fine for me. It does what I want especially considering the for some reason they don’t make anything like this in Australia. Most videos I’ve seen people are zip tying them in place.
