HOW TO WIRE A PUSH BUTTON TO SOLENOID ON A ELECTRIC HOSE REEL

I Have a Northstar skid sprayer with a cox reel. My solenoid went out and I ordered a complete replacement. This time they sent a relay along with solenoid and push button. Does the relay go between solenoid and push button?

Could you make a video on how to test that type of solenoid please? My wheelchair lift has one of those on there and i need to test it. but i don't know how. I'd rather pay for a new solenoid then to pay for a new lift that they keep saying its the motor and i don't believe that it is.

would the 40 amp breaker go between the solenoid and the motor

Dave The Window Licker I would put it before the solenoid. That way if something shorts out any where in the system it will trip the breaker

I always put the breaker/fuse right near the battery.

Why do you need a solenoid? Can't you just use your switch?

What is wrong with people they can't JUST DO WHAT THEY MADE THE VIDEO FOR in simple terms and hopefully THE SAME DAY THEY STARTED THE VIDEO?????????????
