How to wire a texecom reflex PIR to an Alarm panel

Hi mate is it possible to show us a full breakdown of installing Texicom Panel. Im a 3rd year electrical apprentice wanting to know how to install intruder alarms.

I’ve got the same alarm,is it possible to wire 2 pir to the zone 1 entry point,I’ve tried wiring them up by joining the wires to zone 1 but it doesn’t work for me Is there another procedure Any idea please ?

Hi there, Yes this is possible to do, you’ll need to wire the 2 detectors in series. In other words instead of terminating all 4 wires into zone 1 (2 detectors) you’ll need to terminate 1 zone wire from each detector into zone 1 and twist the remaining 2 together and put them in a separate terminator or Wago style connector. Hope this helps

you dont say which wires go onto which terminals?

Blue & yellow goes in any of the zones doesn’t matter which way they go red & black go into 12v aux and green & white go into tamper
