Upgrading our '05 F350 Super Duty XL's mirrors. Man are these amazon mirrors made cheap 😂 Must be really low current to run mirror defroster and power mirrors on like 22 guage wires 😳 Plus the non-standard color coded wires.

Are your mirrors heated? Or just powered? I guess there would beore wires involved, right?

I built a wiring harness for heat on these exact mirrors since the 99-01 F250/350 didn't come wired for heat. I have a 01 F350 Lariat I'm installing these mirrors on. So if you have one in those year and need help let me know. Keith Noneya.

Is the mirrors on a temperature switch or did you have to install a on/off switch?

I have a switch panel from Auxbeam that I just wired them to so it’s like an on/off switch.

great job as always......the switch in the bezel looks factory......thanks for the content....also i am an electrician and any time i do interior wiring i use #14 gauge stranded wire.....it can be found at lowes or home depot

So unless i missed or dont understand but you never said what wires from the oem switch go to the 3 wires that feed the mirror. I know you said the yellow goes to both sides but what does each connect to ? Thanks

Hey man I have a question for ya. Say I just wanted to add 08+ mirrors to my 06 with no power mirrors at all, how should i go about putting them on my truck (don’t care about adjustable functions as i can set them myself) just want to wire them in so they function with my parking lights

Hey. I just upgraded my mirrors on my 2000 Excursion. I already had power and defrost but the new mirrors also have built in blinkers and lights. No wiring diagram came with them but one adapter like you showed did so my power adjustments work fine. I am trying to figure out how to wire up the other mirror features. Do you have any info I could use to identify the right wires within the existing mirror wiring? Mine truck has two separate plugs on each side. Thanks

Hahaha sucker!! My 01 lariat came factory with power mirrors, sucks to suck! Totally messing with ya man😂 it’s definitely worth it to add the power mirrors, my switch was out forever. Once I replaced it I was mad I didn’t do it sooner.
