What is the spring for? Is there an electrical reason for it?
@rosslukeman6 ай бұрын
The spring is there to smash the electrical contacts against the fuse for a tight connection. It's not supposed to be part of the circuit, fits between the plastic housing and the back of one of the contacts on the end of one of the wires. Hope that helps, thanks for tuning in!

Where’s the link to the crimper?
@rosslukeman Жыл бұрын
Hi Jim, I don’t link to the tools. I just put the model number in the video. It’s IWS-1424A. You will need to search that term on Google. Thanks for tuning in!

Why not completely remove inline fuses and place a fuse block or breaker block at the power source. Cleaner install, and you don't have inline fuses all over.
@rosslukemanАй бұрын
Because we are using inline fuses for things 100mA to a few amps. Different fuse for a different job. Thanks for tuning in!
