just curious why you would need a pump-off float if the pump-on float goes down, wouldnt that trigger the pump to turn off?

No, because it is a latching circuit. Both floats have to be up to turn the pump on and both have to be down to turn it off.

I got a model S2 control box that seems like it wants 9 wires instead of 7 wires like other S1/2 boxes I have connected. Any way to use this box with only 7 wires coming from the junction box?

Is it possible to have a two float system on the new Aramco MVPS2 panels? Tried setting one up last night and kept getting a Highwater alarm despite the fact that I have no Highwater alarm float.

Orenco conveniently provides a way for the installer to document the system - of course the @#$ who installed ours, didn't bother to take the extra 10 minutes to complete the documentation. So now I'm reverse engineering it, your video was a great help. Thanks for sharing this information.

Do you know what orenco panel i will need to run two pumps? I need to pump from tank to sand filter then pump from sand filter to drainfield.

Quick question: If I did want to run 2 circuits to this box for the advantages you described (one for the panel to keep the alarm alive & one dedicated to the pump) could I achieve this with a 12/3 wire from the panel; A hot to each panel breaker and then jump the neutral at the N terminals? Or would it require two separate 12/2 wires so that that each leg would have a dedicated neutral? Please let me know if you would and thanks again for all of the great videos you make!

You will need two dedicated circuits from your main panel for each circuit in the control panel. They need to be dedicated so that if the breaker in the main panel trips the other still work.
