Hello What size wire are you using?
@CampbellsFlowers2 жыл бұрын
It very much depends on the weight of material you are working with, different flowers and foliage require stronger or lighter wires. Always use the lightest possible wire. You might want to run through the video again as I definitely cover this - hope that helps.

I like your video a lot! I was wondering for how long the flowers will stay pretty since they wont be in contact with water. Could I make it a day in advance?
@CampbellsFlowers3 жыл бұрын
Hello, yes you can make the afternoon before, best to leave somewhere cool and out of direct sunlight. Its always a good idea to place some damp kitchen roll onto a plate and then add your design, give it a little light misting with water and then add some more damp kitchen roll gently on top. I would suggest you have a practice in advance and then make sure you use exactly the same flowers - that way you'll know whether they all stay nice and fresh or not. Hope that helps Tracey

Hi Tracy! I really liked this video and the next one where you show how to assemble this corsage! I am wondering, why are you wiring and taping the flowers as opposed to just making the corsage design with the stems as-is? Thank you!
@CampbellsFlowers6 жыл бұрын
Sarah Kurtz hi Sarah so glad you love my videos. It’s perfectly fine to construct on the natural stems but I chose the wire and tape method for these designs as they give you much more flexibility (you can move the flowers into place after you’ve completed the design). Wiring and taping also adds strength to the individual flowers so your design is more robust (really important with wrist corsages as they get easily knocked when worn). Lastly, it’s kinda the ‘right’ way to construct, is more professional etc. A bit like learning to drive, my thinking is learn how to do it correctly first and then break the rules when you’re super confident! Hope that helps Tx

@@CampbellsFlowers no worries. I just found out. I'm doing this presentation to make flowers and I need things to use. Have any ideas. It's a wedding centrepiece I have to make.

nick kayla Hi there, I’m super happy to help anyone work their way through my tutorials but I’m really sorry I’m not really sure what you are looking for in terms your presentation. Table arrangements for weddings vary so much in terms of cost, materials and size. Maybe pop onto Pinterest to get some ideas - I always find this helps me when I’m looking for inspiration. Good luck with your presentation. Tracey
