2 Mormon missionaries converted once. They were on the street. We were on the street. I had tracts. I told them I couldn't become a mormon because they had mistakes in their book. God gave me one to say. They ended up at our church..I gave them many tracts and some exposing cults. Got one for us? Yes, right here. The Visitors by Chick. The second time they came, at the alter call they took their elder coats off and went up front and kneeled. God had given Pastor Stephen a message about true prophets not knowing they'd be coming. Some of the finest young men I've ever met.

It's so sad because Mormons are some of the nicest people that you'll ever meet and don't realize that they are deceived, but that is the same with any of the occults out there and not just them. It was challenges like that girl had that drove me away from my twelve years as a mormon. I started asking questions within mormonism as a full fledged member, and after seeing their angry reactions to my merely asking probing questions that I realized that their anger was indicative of the fact that they could not defend what I thought was the truth. Their anger confused me, and drove me back to the Bible.

Nathan Watt I was a Mormon my whole life, and it was extremely hard to just give up everything I ever knew to become a Christian. I refused to believe that my whole perception, and knowledge of God was false. I was torn apart with my beliefs. It took my later wife and the teachings of pastor chuck, actually reading the Bible to see and hear that I was wrong. It hurt so bad, but in turn I found God! I have faith your family will see they are wrong. If I could make the switch so can your family. Baptism for the Dead is taught in the bible! (Apostle Paul) amongst others. Jesus told us to "obey the commandments" and it would be "well with them" that did (So I guess it depends how you define works). Even the devils know who Jesus is (but they do not)! Works are just doing what Jesus asked us to do (your best efforts). His atonement handles all the rest! (but it doesnt give everyone a free ride, like some people think). @@SamTipton You have to take that verse in context. Jesus is explaining to Nicodemus that you have to be born of the spirit to enter the kingdom of heaven. So when he says the quote you mentioned, Jesus is answering the question Nicodemus asked, "How can a man be born again when he is old? He cannot enter his mother's womb a second time and be born, can he?" So Jesus clarifies... it makes sense when you emphasize the word AND in Jesus' answer... "unless one is born of water AND spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven. Jesus was emphasizing a spiritual birth in addition to physical birth. Jesus was not talking about baptism.

He is clarifying his statement that "You must be born again". By showing what is involved. In Romans 6, Paul reveals baptism as a spiritual death, burial, and resurrection to a new life (a birth) makes this line of reasoning in John 3 congruent.

When i was born again saved back in 1988 my front door bell rang one evening and 2 Mormon guys were stood at my door, 2 weeks later it was the JWs. ..i was newly saved in christ jesus and the only scripture that i could remember was 3v16. .the rest of the time i witnessed with my testimonial and man i was on fire. .they all stopped visiting once they really understood that i was not going to leave the pentecostal church. ...many years later as I was out walking and stumbled upon 2 JWs who asked me if i believe in God? Yes i replied and asked them if they have met god and if not would they like to? ..my intentions were to pray with them but i guess now looking back i must've spooked them. .off into the sunset the went.

Ive never regretted my decision to join the LDS CHURCH. christ taught me to practice what he preached and not what a man preaches. Luke 9:49-50 jesus teaches his prejudice apostles about religious tolerance. You should do the same or you'll be in violation of his teachings. I don't agree with mans doctrines, but i do agree with anything that encourages Christlike behaviour. I still get answers in my dreams, have random unexpected healings directly from God (that i can experience spiritually and physically). I love any good teachings from anywhere that help me to be a good person. Learn to love your neighbour before its to late. Everyone now is without excuse, read the beginning of Romans, we have creation and our conscience showing us the creator. @@themotorcycleguy5980 Your scriptures are distorted. Yes it is true that there will be a partial judgement when we die. But, the finale judgment does not come until after the 1000 year reign. This is made pretty clear in Revelations chapter 20. Also Peter makes it pretty clear that the gospel is preached unto those that are dead. I Peter 4:6 John 5:25 The bible can not say it more plain and yet so many people that call themselves Christian are so determined to want to undermine the true loving and merciful nature of our Father in Heaven.

Thank God for this ministry I'm able to bring conversations back to Calvary and what Jesus did for us. Repentance and faith, then works out of greatfulness and love. On a more humorous note... The Bible says we are Gods children, but do you even believe that God is a person that can have children? Or did it just mean he made us for fun but we are not his literal children? I believe we are his actual children, including satan, yes. I think satan chose to be evil just like we can all choose good or evil. how could Moses have seen the face and image of god if god didn’t have a body? If he has a body he has to exist somewhere, which means he physically lives somewhere in this universe. Its not that weird to me. I don’t think god is some mystical unknowable power. We invited the 'elders' in for food and fellowship. I confronted them on the lack of archeological evidence for their story of an Israelite coming to the Americas when God commanded them to occupy the land given to them and the command to go to Jeusalem 3 times a year for sacrifice and offering. Never thought about the idolatry as another point. Besides, they didn't have to 'earn' a meal with works for our benefit. One was very interested with what I had to say. The others, yes 3 came to us after another visit, were trying desperately to convince me otherwise. They NEVER came back to our house.

Some questions to consider if you are an earnest truth seeker. Is there more truth we can learn? Could God reveal another testament of Jesus Christ? If we are created in the image of God and God is our Heavenly Father what is our potential as God’s children? Do families persist in importance in the afterlife? The answer your question about 3 minutes to live; (1) I would encourage you to give you life to the Lord (2) ask you to put your faith in him (3) encourage you to repent (which doesnt happen instantly) (4) get your new LDS friend to get your details so they could perform a baptism on your behalf (baptisms for the dead), (baptism is a necessary step to enter the kingdom even according to you). Because you wont have time. And i would hopefully call an ambulance.

Even though she was interrupted at a crucial moment, i believe and hope she will be able to see later it's because of the very clear point Ray was making that Jesus turned to the one thief who repented and said you will join me in Paradise and the thief certainly didn't get baptised yet was saved in Jesus' eyes, therefore disproving any religion that believes you must do any works etc. to be saved. Very clear why she was ushered away at that moment! However, don't get me wrong being being baptised is important but not essential to be saved, there is a difference.

Great video, only note is, the Book of Mormon does not teach God lives on a planet with many wives. May be more effective to point out how the Book of Mormon directly contradicts the doctrines they hold today. For example Mormon 7:7 teaches the trinity and title page even mentions that Jesus is the eternal God (both of which they deny). If you point out these contradictions, you could start a great conversation about how their doctrines are ever evolving. Just a thought!

@@manasseh7 share the gospel with them 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, then read to them or have them read to you Moroni 8:25 that says they get a remission of sins AFTER fulfilling all the commandments, ask them why if Joseph Smith “restored” the gospel that their gospel is different from 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. Stick to KJV only or they won’t take you seriously. If they bring up faith without works is dead take them to Genesis 15:6 that shows Abraham was given righteousness BEFORE the work and by faith alone and Romans 4:3. The act of polygamy was discontinued long ago, but if your wife dies and you get remarried, you can also be sealed to that wife as well.

(Preexistence + A Spirit created by the Father of Spirits. How else would he be in Heaven?). It should be noted that Satan had to be cast out of Heaven before Adam & Eve could have sinned which means that Satan fell sometime after the Earth was created. Keeping in mind that Satan preexisted before He came to Earth. Which means he was created somewhere else. (The Preexistence or rather... Heaven) But... if we didn't exist before all of this happened then who were the angels who fought against the Devil in Heaven? Your answer is in Revelations 12:17. But I will stand behind my claim that God is the Father of all things and we are all siblings to every spirit. Hebrews 12:9 suggests that God is the Father of all Spirits including the Devil and his Angels - I'm not sure how this isn't clear. If God is our Father that would mean we are his children. That would make each and everyone of us siblings - including the evil one, the Devil. I've made it simple to understand and pieced the puzzle for you with the help, aid and mercy of God. Before you question someones faith DO NOT take their word for it but will go to God with questions and read his word for clarity, understanding and truth. You should not believe every word I have said, but instead search the word of God for yourself. Find out for yourself and quit relying on the wisdom of men to teach you the things that God wants you know, learn, and do. (Acts 17:10-15).

Mormonism doesn't deny the existence of Hell, it does believe in in Hell. Hell is a half of the post mortal realm where you must suffer for your sins (To the same degree as Jesus but only for yourself) because you didn't ask the Redeemer to take them away. That same church church believes Kolob as being the center of creation, the core of Heaven and WHERE the throne of God is. Their gospel is not one of works. You must show that you are invested in your salvation and worthy of the Lord's redemption. You cannot get into heaven only by your works, having never called upon Jesus, but neither can you by only relying on grace and living a life of evil. The third heaven is reserved for the murderers, rapists, and adulterers who accept Jesus as their God, but it is the least glory of the three and filled with the guilt of not living in an even decent way.

a couple mormons in walmart were about to tey to talk to a couple who looked uncomfoetable soni said hey guys. ill talk to you, and i witnessed to them. lol the only thing i could really leave them with was, i challenge you to find out if thw bible is complete or not, because its qorda dexlare that it is. and were not beconing gods to rule our own planet. The most confident one said we need the bible but also the book of mormon, and I saidok then, take up my challenge and look for yourself. i pray that they did.
