The residency last 5 years. If you are already a pediatrician you will have to work 2 years in a teaching hospital before getting the french license. And that license will allow you to do whatever you like: hospital, private clinic or work for yourself

Sir 2 questions: 1. The TCF test required for proficiency in french for IMGs states B2 level, I know. But do we only have to take the 3 compulsory components: listening, grammer sentence and reading? Or also the 2 optional ones: writing and oral expression (speaking)? 2. Where to find out if our medical college is recognised by French Medical Council? I'm at A2 level, and depending on the amount of daily effort one can reach B1 level in 6 months for sure! Obviously a lot of other factors also go into it, but my best wishes!
