Great video. I related deeply to many of the triumphs and challenges. It's worth it. I think it's all hard no matter where we stand . I have been a working homeschool mom for the past 5 years. We are hybrid homeschoolers - my son attends a brick and mortar campus two days per week.. I run a free advocacy and resource website for homeschooling families, The Homeschool Counseling Network. My struggle is keeping up with chores even though the family helps. I have learned to lower my standards! I also have moments when I am not the best version of myself . Thanks heavens for grace! I make amends and focus on relationship with my child. That is paramount. Tips: we straighten on weekends and deep clean before guests. We do laundry every weekend as a family. I cook but the boys handle dishes. Carve out time for yourself! I get up a little earlier to get in a bit of exercise, shower, and enjoy a cup of coffee while reading my Bible before my son wakes. It sets the tone for the day. We send our son to bed by 9pm to read in bed so we can reconnect as a couple. It strengthens our marriage.

I love hearing about your day! It was very cool to get to see how we all get it done... flexibility (and less cleaning?!) sound like the keys. We'll keep heaping on that grace. 🤍🤍High fiving you from over here!
