This exercise is like a programming workout The biggest thing these do is build and hardwire your sensory system to the ball by learning and challenging yourself to learn new movement. Limitations with movement with the basketball due to not having a programming workout such as this are holding you back. The difference between good handlers and elite ones are the little things. Do a lot of these little things sets the stage for all and the level from average to "Got damn!"

I don't know why outside of game I have a 1 of 2 , 3pt. But in my game my shot is always off and I can't make any shots my shot feels mechanicaly engineered out of game but feels broken and off in game what can I do to fix it
@marquinkeith72314 жыл бұрын
Great question! I used to feel the same way at 5'11, but as I kept playing I started to realize that it was my spacing to allow me to get my shot of as visually clear as possible. My mechanics were very good but I wanted to do everything off the dribble and didn't really understand how to play the game. If you are off on some days try to work on getting your teammates open off your drives and kicks, or draws and drops( bounce passes). Use your off scoring to help you round out your game. Can you handle the ball with a defender connected to you consistently because aspirations of playing at high level require that skill. Watch how the person guarding you is playing defense and try to put them in situations you are comfortable with. As fast as basketball looks its really not, its the ultimate straightest game. There are always games within the game, become a student and you will be the player you have inside you.

How to score without dribbling?
@abubakkarsiddiq47324 жыл бұрын
It might be a bit impossible.....
@emilismajevskis22203 жыл бұрын
Dude it's easier than you think, just have good basketball iq, study different cuts and screen reads, be better shooter, learn how to shoot from different footwork(but focus on mastering few and then add new footwork).That's basically it, you can also watch players like duncan robinson, klay thompson, reggie miller to name a few.
@jeromehouston052 жыл бұрын
@@emilismajevskis2220 plays like that only happen in high levels, its not common for coaches in HS to use it
@emilismajevskis22202 жыл бұрын
@@jeromehouston05 Believe me you don’t need to be in high level to cut or get open with teammate setting you a screen, like you won’t score high numbers with this, but atleast this could potentially add few easy points.
@jeromehouston052 жыл бұрын
@@emilismajevskis2220 thats true i agree , all im saying is youre limiting your game if you cant depend on your dribbling in games. So dribble is very important especially if ur a guard and you have to move with the ball alot. Plus if you have the ball in your hand youll get alot of scoring opportunities, beside getting open off ball, yknow?

@remedy_40144 жыл бұрын
You just practice what you would do in a game (handles,shooting,finishing) and here is a tip that help even more with confidence, that whether you make or miss a shot never react to it and stay unconscious with your actions you can get this info on a channel called pjf performance it's a mentality video
