This is such an important video. I would love to see more of these videos where you explain the communication between different departments and steps during the postproduction but also preproduction. For example - communication with dp (before shooting and after shooting) - what to do when you are done grading Etc.

you should run omniscope on a separate machine, it's a way smoother workflow, and odds are you're already using a reference monitor, so you just need to use your other output and a mini monitor box

also - wouldn't you want to deliver graphics for the grade on another layer, so that you can blend them into the final look, like if you use a density dctl, or film grain.

With the prores workflow, if you render out a single video, is there no way to send the cut information? In the past with a premiere edit-to-resolve color, we've exported out an EDL for the colorist to use get the cuts in. But if you're going resolve-to-resolve, is there no way to send over that cut information?

Unless you make the cuts on the exported prores, then export the EDL/XML
