Tim Ferris I’ve only seen three of your videos, the Bill Burr, your one on how writing helps you speak better and this man so far. You bring a real beauty out of people and underneath the emotions going around these days, thank you for bringing me back to love, which lies underneath all emotions. That’s why I don’t like these emotions. I think they’re social contagions also.

Anger is useful when you need to assert yourself. Respect people and their boundaries but be as angry as is optimal.

Another great teaching from J Kornfield is naming the demons, in his book A Path with Heart i believe, when he teaches that naming our demons we get closer to them, get to know them, get their need and their gifts...

This was tremendously helpful. Thank you! Anger is a struggle for sure. My pastor advised me that it often starts out as righteous but gets self righteous too quickly.

What I really love about the show are these little nuggets. It’s hard to listen to an entire show because there’s so much chaff even in the best of shows. Like stop telling me what you’re gonna talk about and just talk about it yo

Iv'e been working with anger for a number of years, doing much better than a year ago. For decades I was weak about anger, not knowing the sources. King of Wands is one of my cards. There are many body responses to be aware of. Breath and the heart rate changes. Little flushes. Takes inner power to contend with it. Learning to hold space and learn to release.

Take that anger energy and turn it into something positive. For example clean out the garage, plant some flowers, dig out that shitty bush in your yard you've been wanting to get rid of The end result is positive. You can't help but feel positive as the result. Another thing is anger can lead to positive changes as well. Like forcing you to see the truth. Now letting anger over flow isn't a good thing. I guess if have self-control (a strong heart ❤️ ) you can benefit from them emotions. Do it right 🙏😇🎯

Dr Donny Epstein taught me anger moves us from one energy state to another. It gets our energy up. We have to use that energy wisely.

Well that was good. Like falling back on the “desiderata”… but it’s the “what’s under it” sometimes that you can’t get to quick enough and there comes the reaction the lashing out. I guess it’s wanting to control yourself (for me) that is so frustrating… thanks Tim… good morning tuesday

Hi Tim. I had a rage issue that became severe over 3 years. Innerchild focused hypnotherapy uncovered a bunch of root causes and I haven't had a rage session since. Hope this helps.

People holding on to hate and anger often lack mindfulness.

I'm struggling with anger towards my parents for the extreme physical abuse I suffered as a child. Anger at my mother for beating me up so many times to the point of being bed ridden with bruises for days on end and anger at my father for not preventing it. Now that they are old I found myself daydreaming about getting revenge on them somehow without them being able to know it was me. I feel like they should suffer too somehow and not think they got away with it without any consequences.
