Awesome! I'm looking forward to seeing more content about the developer handover, thanks!

As a junior, this is exactly the content I've been looking for. Any design style can be easily replicated. I want to know the nuts and bolts, how the sausage actually gets made, the secret sauce if you will lol. This info gives a lot more insight into the UX process than just learning how to crank out deliverables 🙌

I've been wanting to see a video like this for a long time now. I have some coding experience so I can understand how it goes once the dev gets the design files but not on the designer's end. Thank you so very much!

Thank you! I'm already making another one on "assets" and how to best handle them so the developers have it easier to code it well :-)

Hi. I have a request for you. I've seen lots of designer dont know how to use shadow in such a cool way. Can you make a video for only shadow couple of depth? Like this far, close, closest. Better you will understand what I'm talking about. Thanks

This advice is especially important if you work at a big company where you can’t interact in person with a dev shoot maybe you guys might not even meet at zoom because of time difference. It seems like all designers I like on KZbin recommend selling. Might give it a shot

i just purchased your ux book ! tanks for the good work! and also can you make a video about how to make gif for your animation just like you showed in this video ? thank you.
@MalewiczHype2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the support. That particular animation was made in invision studio, then converted to gif with a free online tool called ezgif 🙂 I have a couple of videos on this channel on how to use invision studio for beginner animators :)

How did you get so good at design? Like, how did you figure out what looks good in a design?

It takes years. I started in 1998 ;-)

Why do you prefer Zeplin over Figma's dev-handoff features?
@MalewiczHype2 жыл бұрын
I only use Figma for courses because most people use it. I don't use it for any hype4 work we do for a couple of reasons. Starting with an annoying UI, that non-native feel, all the way to a horrible privacy policy. So yeah, not a fan ;-) However we are exploring Zeplin for a while now (before this video) as it has a couple of features regarding asset generation that our devs seem to like a lot. Syncs well with Sketch, which is our go-to design tool and is not that expensive in the paid plans. We're not sure we'll 100% switch all our company work to it yet, but we're testing the waters. So far I like what I see.

Why do you need Zeplin, when Figma has built-in comments, ''Prototype'' and 'Inspect'' functions? Zeplin is in agony now...
@MalewiczHype2 жыл бұрын
I don't use Figma for any professional work (for various reasons I also speak about on this channel). But those handoff parts Zeplin does better than Figma. Even inVision inspect is better than the one in Figma. Best not to rely on just one tool for everything, as you may end up in a locked ecosystem without the ability to switch ;)
