I'm a collision painter here in Tempe and I've been getting super into vinyl. The process is very similar to prepping and masking a car for paint. Thanks for the tips! Say the caps come off supper easy is it better to remove the caps? I just started doing this by the way and Trying to rap my 14 expedition mirrors has been a pain in the butt. I been trying to wrap them in chrome wrap.

How come the down side witch you cut above the chrome line didn’t pull back? Or did you release the pressure on it before heating it? I would like to see how to prevent glue lines and if you get them how to get writ of them.

Michel Cekalovic proper prestrech will keep it from pulling back. The key is to heat all the edges to relieve stretch before working down to edge and cutting. Glue lines are definitely a tough one!I'll have to think of someone creative ways to demonstrate in a video, thanks for your commentary!

I've always had problems with deep recessed areas where prefilling isn't really an option and I hate to use primer.

Lay into the area, make sure to account for the extra material when cutting out your panel pieces feed it in or start to lay there diary and work outwards towards the flatter parts of the panel

Don’t know if it helps you guys but when I do mirrors I like rub a little baby oil on my buffer helps with the scratching and I don’t have to spray down anything and have water everywhere

I would like to see pickup trucks. No one has a video that I have seen wrapping the back of the cab. I’ve got a 2014 f150 and that part is the only thing stopping me from wrapping it myself. So if y’all can do a video on between the cab and bed of a pickup that would be awesome

Y'all need to do a roof panel, cause they have the largest surface area, and sometimes harder to reach the middle of the roof. Plus show us how to apply the floor care to the plastics, spray, wipe, microfiber, the best way to apply it.

An Fasov it honestly depends on the mirror. If its a removable cap, yes. Sometimes it is not necessary though. Mirrors like this we usually charge $150-200/set. Up to $250 for full mirrors with neck.
