How to Wrap a Dog

I use the ‘puppy burrito method’ a lot, however I like the way you folded the towel to isolate the front legs and avoid the bite zone. Definitely will try it with a few of my clients pugs.

Just curious as to why you would wrap a dog? Warmth or something else?

It’s to prevent them from biting or scratching a groomer or vet staff. Some dogs are calmed by compression. When dogs flip around it’s very difficult to safely clip their nails. One of the hardest parts of grooming is doing nails, dogs can potentially twist or hurt their joints if they fight too much. We also have to watch specifically dogs like Pugs because they can have breathing issues if they push on the neck loops too hard.
