Just got mine today and came here to learn how to re-wrap it. I went with black and metallic blue paracord. Not only does it look awesome, but it actually has a bit more grip than the stuff that came on it. Very happy with it so far, makes a great addition to my collection.

That is a nice video, even if I have no plans to purchase this. I can get a great D2 blade from Bestech for half the price. I am very impressed that you actually gave the length of paracord (shoelace) need for this project.

to me it's silly and does what a goof knife handle should do which is stay in your hand. yet it makes the owner clean/maintain their knife more than need be with a standard proper handle lol. not to mention the xtra holes in the handle that will get gunked up too. no thx. i'll stick to more practical knives i don't have to do xtra for. i knew that many would think it's a good idea so more power to yall for the gimmick win. i'm not hating i'm congratulating lol.

Wait a minute, in the very beginning of this video you basically say that you gutted/removed most of the inner strands from that piece of 550 paracord that's wrapped around the handle, then why is this knife called the Parascale? It would be more accurate to call it the CRKT ShoeLaceScale!!! If you remove most of the inner strands from paracord and just keep the outer shell/sheath of the paracord, it's no longer actual 550 paracord anymore and it's now essentially shoelace!!! I think the name Parascale is misleading because you've modified the 550 paracord to the point that it's no longer paracord anymore, to me that seems a bit deceiving!!! It looks like a bait and switch situation going on here, it's called the Parascale but you're actually essentially using shoelace.

Got this when it came out.. literally the deadbolt fell out of the knife just opening and closing it....huge disappointment.

Hey, CRKT. Instead of making a video of how to wrap the paracord onto the handle, it would be highly appreciated if you instead made a video of you clipping the Parascale onto your pants pocket ad then taking it off. Because the paracord doesn't seem to sit flush with the handle and it's wrapped around the handle directly under the pocket clip, which looks like it would make clipping the Parascale to your pants pocket very difficult/annoying!!!

@@shuriken2505 TJ in the beginning actually said that it's a single strand of 550 cord with all of the center strands removed, in reality that's called shoelace!!! This is a classic case of bait and switch!!!

Thomas Connolly yeah no shit Sherlock. the knife is for pure aesthetics. while you can use the paralace, without the core, 50 percent of stuff you can do with Paracord is gone
