@salvadorvelasco5188 Bhawwaaaaa. Do not use " sincerely " or "yours ". That belong to the Baby Boomers generation. First of all logical thinking : In a company it will always exist siloer ( discussions between departments or Top-down communications ) "Sincerely" is a lie., a lick in the ass style- to say it direct. And "yours" what are you dreaming at or what is that kind of writing ???

The "Hey Jim" email example is missing the purpose of the email: I am contacting you because my flight has been cancelled/delayed. The next line, is all informal because your co-worker does not care if you are good...or well ( which is the correct answer at how are you ). The second line should not exist and instead explain short and clear the purpose of the email and argument why, the circumstances and background. If one has a business level language, than it should sound: Kindly, could you ____forward/inform_____ to/ the chef engineer as I do not have his e-mail adress or ....depends of the business situation, such as production or sale department. At the signature use Kind or Beast* . Add closing remarks such as CTA. Regards and remember to have a professional signature by mentioning which company you represent and what is your job role. But if you are not good at both: English and literature or Rhetoric than better go to school. First learn to write correct English, after learn how to speak like a native speaker with high literacy transparency .
