A Letter of Reference is one of the most important requirements you must submit on your JETProgramme application.

Hi, you mean sealed envelope? Or school seal? Needed po school seal. You can send it according to how it was given to you. Please check the latest guidelines for any changes.

Hello Sensei, I have one recommender who is a proferssor in Japan. Is it better to ask them to mail me the actual letter with their wet signature or is it okay for them to send a scanned copy via e-mail? Thank you

Hello Sensei, I worked sa LGU po for two years and resigned last year, now po I worked in Native Camp as a homebased ESL teacher po. I am working as an independent contractor/freelancer. So since I am a freelancer, I am not an employee sa company po. Wala akong mahihingan nang letter for recommendation. Kanino po ako hihingi? Sa LGU nalang po like ni Mayor? Kasi siya yung head ko.

pwede po yang naisip mo. Kailangan sa letter maipakita yung relationship nyo boss mo ba sya ano work mo dun at naging position mo etc. kaya nga nya nirerecommend.

Everything you shared po is about experiences of teachers. How about those who are not teacher? Example, if your experiences are in sales or production operation? As I understand, ALT under JET Programme does not limit to teachers only, is that correct? Thank you and hope you notice my comment. Take care and stay safe☺️

It's mentioned po. Referrees could be your boss or manager (team leader, OM, etc) anyone who directly supervised. I don't think I need to list all managerial positions for this. But, of course my examples are based on my experience. I couldn't talk much about other jobs.

I just want to reiterate that this is based on my experience. Just because I focused on my experience as a teacher doesn't mean I'm telling you JET is only for teachers. Anyone who has a Bachelor's Degree, with or without work experience, is eligible to apply.
